Leftroom Limited is back with another of its essential club ready offerings, this time from one of house music’s most essential talents, Alinka, feat. Ahmad with a standout remix from label boss Matt Tolfrey.

Alinka, who has recently delved into the world of music full time and is now Berlin based, is a contemporary Chicago tastemaker who brings wonderful weirdness to her grooves on The Classic Music Company, Jackathon Jams, Crosstown Rebels, Leftroom and more. She imbues her music with the spirit of greats like Honey Dijon, Derrick Carter and Gemini and is a regular at Panorama Bar and Circoloco, where she has a power on the decks that sets her apart from the masses. She is a life long deep digger and former Smart Bar resident who exudes house music class on every level. Here she produces her first collaboration with Berlin based international vocalist Ahmad Larnes of electronic R&B duo Schwarz Dont Crack.

Rabbit Hole is a timeless house track with deep, mesmerising drums and a classic vocal line that brims with real feelings. A melodic bass line moves things along while raw claps and sci-fi sounds all enrich the groove. As well as a stripped back dub, Matt Tolfrey steps up to remix and does so with a sense of late night afterparty urgency - hits drums and tight and punchy, the vocal is more rapturous and the whole thing is brilliantly compelling and warm. He also offers an instrumental version for more heads down dancing.
