Sagmen co-owner Andre Salmon debuts on South of Saturn with a collaborative release, involving KC Wray, Dave Sanz, Jose Wated and FreedomB.
Known for his impressive catalogue on Repopulate Mars, Hottrax, Rawthentic and Suara, Ecuador's Andre Salmon has been at the forefront of his local electronic music scene for many years,
including spearheading his own labels: Anima Somnis, Maniacs, and Fishmatism. This latest release from Salmon demonstrates his love for collaborating with a slew of talented producers joining him in the studio.
Starting off is ‘Uncomplicated Beauty’ with Desert Hearts’ KC Wray and regular studio partner Dave Sanz, featuring a smooth bassline, popping hats and clean vocal work from Lollie Vox.
Joined by fellow countryman Jose Wated, curator of Montañita Dance Music and Arts Festival, ‘Green Klouds’ is next and features shuffling cymbals, infectious sub patterns and an addictive synth hook.
Finally, Percomaniacs producer FreedomB joins Salmon offering up ‘Venganze’ with it’s down-pitched 303 styled riff, haunting samples and ascending keys to conclude the package.
