Riky Ild follows up his inclusion on Street Tracks Imprint Vol. 3 with a full EP for the Waze & Odyssey curated label. Hailing from Italy, Riky has fired out some great tracks and releases for East and Beat, Flashmob Records and District 9, and on the ‘Overdose Of 9X9’ EP, we are treated to a trio of superlative house bombs!
The rolling tribal beats of ‘Overdose Of 9X9’ are accompanied by burst of handclaps and rumbling bass for a straight up jackin’ affair, whilst ‘Searching For Stability’ goes in deeper, setting hypnotising rhythms with a soulful vocal touch and smooth melodies. ‘Cream Supreme’ wraps up this release with further high intensity jackin’ business with shades of electro to be found in its futuristic riffs.
