Label boss Archie Hamilton delivers a long-awaited solo EP, primed perfectly for the
beginning of the would-be summer season. Archie is known for his signature sound,
blending timeless basslines with never ending grooves to create some of highest quality house music there is, and this EP is no different!
The lead track ‘Ease My Mind’ combines tribal-style drums with a rolling bassline. Softly- layered pads and soothing vocals from ‘The Smoothness’, bring a beautifully hypnotic touch to the track - primed for summer days. ‘Shade’ takes a much darker direction with a heads-down groove and catchy acid lead that builds and builds into dance floor madness. Finally, ’Movin On’ has a more old-school approach; bouncing bass and jackin’ drums meet retro stabs and dub chords to round off the EP perfectly.
