Released once again on his Dichotomy Records label, Blue Veil, AKA Danny Clancy, continues to nurture his label, inviting the likes of Ahu and Mary Yalex to contribute to the prospering label’s catalogue.
Its title is a stark reminder on how incoherent and uneven the political and cultural landscape has become in recent times, but the ‘Decline Of Western Civilisation’ EP offers up music brimming with hope and possibility. ‘Return To Forever’ is a charging techno cut that pummels through a dystopian soundscape, whilst stirring harmonics and tender refrains shape ‘We Live Inside A Dream’. ‘The Sky’s Fucking Blue’ wraps up a diverse release with a dense ambient piece.
