The title track ‘Malibu’ is something very special indeed, an effervescent, super-groovy, disco-tinged, house hybrid, with Detroit inspired chords and a hooky-as-hell vocal too boot! The flip side features another choice cut from the same stable, ‘Perception’. Hot as hell, and again so, so catchy you’ll dance yer socks off! Finally Jamie Jones delivers a fantabulous remix of ‘Malibu’, adding a sweet guitar lick, a new vocal, and a monster of a breakdown and bassline! Burnski has recently released ‘Coming Home’ on 20:20, whilst Robert James and Jamie Jones have recently remixed last years ‘Summertime’ anthem by Jamie for release on Crosstown Rebels in the very near future.
