‘Inferno Jack’ is the second EP from Butane’s forthcoming album, ‘Endless Forms’, and the last prior to its release in June on Crosstown Rebels. Featuring remixes from Germany’s finest lady, Anja Schneider, and Swiss gem, Kalabrese, this release is set to ignite sparks and create house explosions all summer long.
Rebels newcomer Butane is highly skilled and emotively driven. The first release from his LP project, ‘Mutation’ is currently rocking dancefloors and has the underground screaming for more. ‘Inferno Jack’ warrants much of the same attention. Coveted for its seductive vocal, this record will tease and play with all that listen.
Anja Schneider is techno’s leading lady as the head of the Mobilee empire and one of the most in-demand DJs around Europe. Beating some piano-led melody and percussion into ‘Inferno Jack’, Anja creates a new-found groove that seeps with magnetism.
Rumbling its roots, Kalabrese works his magic through the veins of ‘Inferno Jack’. His remix experiments with its sounds, culminating in a breathtaking and individual record, sure to keep dancefloors alive. Kalabrese is one of the more glittering characters in Zurich’s music scene, renowned for his debut artist album, a standout Resident Advisor podcast and a legendary performance at last year’s Sonar festival. His famed ability to mutate sounds and create originality is evident from this remix.
Butane (AKA Andrew Rasse) takes influence from the constantly evolving world around him. Settling in Berlin, his home of the Midwestern USA opened his heart to the history of house music and continues to inspire the progression in his own music. His LP, ‘Endless Forms’, will be released on Crosstown Rebels this coming June. Full of luscious grooves and intrinsic beats, the project will earmark Butane as a true talent in an ever-growing sea of artists.
