The Los Angeles based producer, Chris Simon, returns to Street Tracks after 2018’s ‘If You Believe’ EP, with another classy collection of house tracks. The Pfeiffer Records label boss delivers a trio of club cuts on the ‘Clang’ EP.
The title cut ‘Clang’ builds itself upon a rock solid rhythm, introducing soft piano chords and vocals hits, whilst ‘Moon Halo’ goes deeper, as waves of gorgeous pads wash over a sturdy groove, whilst granular synth riffs heat up this spacey and striking track. Wrapping up his release with ‘Motes Of Light’, Chris Simon stays in melodic mode, with another compelling and alluring slice of deep house.
A fine way to kickstart the new year, and indeed the new decade, for both Chris Simon and for Street Tracks.
