The Boston born, Brooklyn based Devon James collaborates on this Street Tracks release with Warung, the USA duo who are no strangers to the label, and delivers two stellar tracks on the ‘Madness’ EP.
The title track is a sleek and purposeful melodic house cut, mottled with a soul inducing male vocal refrain, that exudes pure positive vibes in every bar as the track unfurls. ‘Lucidity’ is a deep and hypnotic pumper, with a sound not too dissimilar to those classic Tribal America jams of Tenaglia, MURK et al.
Devon James has racked up some notable releases in the past for Gene Farris’s Farris Wheel Recordings, Country Club Disco and Staybad, whilst Warung have brought their melodic and progressive sounds to labels like KBD, Dear Deer and Earthly Delights.
