Brand new from tici taci label boss Duncan Gray - this is the first new material to escape from DG's studio since the release of 2017's "The Malcontent Vol1" album. With volume 2 of The Malcontent due for release later this year, Forge is a standalone single which won't be included on the album. Chunky beats and bass meet post-punk guitars on Forge for a heads-down stomp with freaky analogue synths and bass guitar licks.

Remixes come from Mr BC who's "tweekin' acid funk" version does exactly what it says on the tin, with a crisp production and plenty of 303 action. Another long-standing favourite of DG's is Mexican producer Mijo who brings a unique take to the track with added vocal licks and a darker edge.

DJ support comes from Andrew Weatherall (included original version on a promo mix for Japanese radio, and is playing it at ALFOS parties) and globetrotting nicest man in showbusiness Nick Warren. From the underground we also have support from Marseille's finest La Dame Noir DJs and man of the hour Curses.
