Having remixed 9th House on the label earlier this year, East End Dubs now debuts on Jamie Jones’ Hottrax with a full release featuring three cuts entitled ‘Rhythm 494’.
Releasing on the likes of Fuse London when he’s not helming his own eponymous label, Eastenderz and Social, East End Dubs makes music aimed at the dancefloor and he’s become highly respected and well followed by many, especially DJs.
With its squelchy 303, uplifting bassline and swinging percussion, ‘Acid Roll’ is a well titled cut produced with one thing in mind – sending clubs into absolute bedlam. ‘Black Light’ is deeper and trippier by comparison using shuffling drums, gloomy vocal and echoing effects. Tying it all together, ‘Rhythm 494’ is built on an intricate rhythm as a cacophony of clicks and pops join dubby stabs to generate a mesmerising heads down affair.
East End Dubs drops ‘Rhythm 494’ on Hottrax on 20th September 2019.
