SALES NOTES

Hot on the heels of his widely applauded and groundbreaking 'Runner' album, Crosstown have commissioned some cutting edge producers to remix and reinterpret some of their favourite tracks from the album.

The A side features Maceo Plex's remix of Glimpse's superb 'Walk Tall'. Maceo Plex is Eric Estornel, A.K.A Maetrik (Treibstoff, Audiomatique, Dumb Unit), due for more releases on Crosstown Rebels later this year. He drops the jazz and heads straight for the dance floor, with this no holds barred living and breathing remix, slamming the beats to create a peak time monster.

The Flip features two excellent remixes, first up is Berghiem hero Marcel Dettmann, who delivers a heavy, heavy slice of sonic skullduggery in his rework of 'Enjoyable Employable'. A remix so powerful in execution and so majestic in grace, he truly takes the notion of a remix to the above and beyond.

Next up and Argentinean keyboard wizard Guti turns on the jazz. He loops out the original 'Things To Do In Denver' and adds stunning keys and Hammond to create a truly groovy affair, perfect for summer fun times.

Three great varied and original remixes which compliment the originals, but each one succeeds by taking it to the next level. On the digital release DJ Sodyama also takes his interpretation of bonus track 'The Number One', another secret weapon not to be missed.

Glimpse AKA Christopher Spero is Glimpse is a DJ and producer's favourite, a true innovator who is able to explore and master various genres in his own inimitable style. Blurring the distinctions of traditional genres, he appeals to even the most obstinate listeners through his tireless dedication to continual reinvention. His debut studio album is a beguiling, heady mix of house music drawing on the true essence of its rudimentary influences to produce an album of true magic.
