London’s DJ duo Hart & Neenan deliver the tenth release for Ben Rau’s flawless META label, and deliver a trio of hypnotizing and exquisite house tracks on the ‘Refused’ EP.
Glorious waves of tones wash over the swinging and tuff beats of ‘Around Us’, whilst a similar sound aesthetic is ploughed on ‘Free’, with a mesmerizing bassline anchoring a sci-fi inflected mood. Title track, ‘Refused’, bangs hardest, with a bright and effervescing production that supremely seals this skillful release from Hart & Neenan.

Embarking on their production path some three years ago, the pair have released their collaborations on the District 9, Low Groove and Sanity labels, whilst Neenan also forged solo outings on label heavyweights Viva Music, and Kerri Chandler’s MadTech .
