Album Story: Hybrasil - Embers
Since moving to Berlin I’ve been buying records at Hardwax, going to modular workshops at Schneidersladen, attending Superbooth and Berlin Atonal, going to Panorama Bar/Berghain, generally immersing myself in the city. During this time I’ve been helping out with the SRVD Live show and spending time in the studio with Radio Slave. When I wrote ‘Hathor’ Matt played it in Panorama Bar that weekend, that kicked off a 3 month burst of creativity where the album was written. The album is a product of all these influences, inspired by the people I have met here in Berlin and my experiences in the city. It is written and mixed for the Panorama Bar / Berghain sound system and the people who dance there.
