Revered tech producer, James Burton, kicks off 2019 with his much anticipated fourth OUM EP, fresh of the production line the format of “Thats a Rap”. The latest release on Skreams’ heavyweight label, “Of Unsound Mind” is comprised of three tracks meticulously put together, curating another vibrant and dynamic record.
Title track of the EP, “Thats a rap” is superbly configured, producing a cacophony of tight rhythms and electric energy. A perforating puncher of a track that has prime time dance-floors all over it is sure to amplify the vibe of countless sets.
Also featuring on the EP is “Feel The Pressure” another high BPM addition to the James Burton roster has perennial vocals that permeate the track for the duration. The lucrative vocals create a memorable ambient tech number for the EP. Lauded producer Sosa is on remix duties bringing a different flavor to “Thats a Rap”. Keeping in the same spirit as the original Sosa’s remix is a lively number with a powerful baseline and distinctive drop. A seamlessly comprised remix that pristinely rounds up the EP.
