4 To The Floor pays homage to the iconic labels that have been instrumental and influential in the evolution of house music. Now the label is starting a new series of releases that celebrates classic tracks by giving them a fresh vinyl outing. The first release in this series comes from two artists who need little introduction. Kicking off the A-Side is Los Angeles based, Grammy nominated artist Josh One, with the 2002 King Britt Funke Mix of his smash hit ‘Contemplation’. This mix took the reggae-esque original into a funky, organ lead house anthem with a rolling bassline. Turn over to the B-Side and you’ll find the unmistakable vocal of Alana, recurrent collaborator with MK.
