Lady Blacktronica got her start as a house vocalist during the ‘90s, but it’s as a producer that she’s been her most prolific. Since 2007 she’s released dozens upon dozens of deep house records, with her latest landing on Meda Fury, an R&S Records sublabel dedicated to uncovering hidden talents throughout the vast world of house music. These are all long, driving tracks for afterhours dancing: ‘Oh So Cold’ is a slower, spaced-out number, ‘Trim The Breaks’ is a jacked-up club track, while ‘Akua’s Heart’ goes into overdrive with layers of percussion.
