Laesh returns to Street Tracks after an appearance on Street Tracks Imprint Vol. 1 in 2019, with a full EP of slammin’, energetic house weapons. The Italian based producer has been delivering the goods for labels like Robsoul Recordings, Release Sustain and My Vision Records over the last five years, and here offers up a triplet of tracks on the cheekily titled ‘Crunchy Stabs’ EP.
‘Crunchy Stabs’ is built upon a rattling 909 beat, that’s as crunchy as those stabs that the track title bestows itself to. Rave motifs and a funky-ass bass make for a killer, pumping club cut. More hip house goodness is served up on ‘Brutal Chords’, as tight vocal chops dance around panel beating drums and a wiggly worm of an FM b-line. ‘Wicked Lead’ wraps up this effortlessly cool house collection, with a virulent synth line writhing around the pounding rhythm and vocal hits.
