    2. AA. Finally Ready (Dimitri From Paris TSOP - The Sound Of Paris - Remix Pt II)

The Shapeshifters’ studio mastery and dedication to his craft has resulted in singles that stand up alongside golden era disco records as much as they sound fresh on dancefloors today. His rich relationship with Glitterbox has yielded instant classics that epitomise the label’s ethos for preserving disco’s mission to uplift and empower, especially with his latest release and debut collaboration with the Grammy, Tony and Emmy Award-winning Billy Porter, ‘Finally Ready’. Now, another of the label’s nearest and dearest, Dimitri From Paris, steps up to remix The Shapeshifters’ latest on a special 7” vinyl package. Co-written with Billy as a declaration of Pride, Dimitri adds his signature stylish flare onto the suitably theatrical original. Split into two parts, Pt. I on the A-Side keeps Billy’s unmistakable vocal at centre stage, with funk-fuelled organ chords and rich keys bringing Dimitri’s Sound Of Paris. On the flip, Pt. II is a more stripped back version, allowing the classic disco instrumentals to really shine, as a previously unheard and powerful spoken-word vocal from Billy narrates along with improvised vocals taken from the studio recordings. Expertly crafted and brimming with emotion, the joyful message of ‘Finally Ready’ rings true through Billy’s lyrics on both mixes, as Dimitri From Paris brings a new dimension to this dancefloor essential.

chalo is a nascent interdisciplinary creative community and collaborative platform featuring the work of ethnically South Asian artists. With a long term aim to strengthen cross-cultural bonds by showcasing the vast breadth of talent within the community, the first volume features artists with heritage in Pakistan, India and Kashmir. Net proceeds from the compilation are going towards the Human Rights Law Network (HRLN) and Zindagi Trust.

The first volume of chalo comprises of Pakistani and Indian artists across classical composers and underground hip-hop, visual artists and videographers, journalists and illustrators. It is a multi-tiered release featuring a video, podcast, print series and, most importantly, a music compilation.

Featuring an all-star cast of artists like that range from the cerebral (V.S Narasimhan), to editations on immigrant culture (Riz Ahmed), to post-modern pop (Kavya), to Kashmiri hip-hop (Ahmer), floating left-field electronica (Nabihah Iqbal) to meditative jazz (Sarathy Korwar) to tunes that will leave you sweating on the dance floor (MadstarBase), chalo vol. 1 showcases the diversity and musical range of South Asian artists. It dispels the notion that an often overlooked culture can be painted by one brush, a single narrative.

The compilation will be accompanied by a video piece that gives insight to the plight of artists of colour whilst also highlighting the unique cultural melting pot of influences. This ethos will be extended to an eight-episode podcast where discussions between artists from various parts of India and Pakistan will meditate on discussions of caste, class, politics, race and, amongst it all, the meaning of art. This will be released after the compilation’s launch on November 6th, with the album artwork by Shweta Sharma.

The net proceeds from the chalo project will be split between the Human Rights Law Network and Zindagi Trust which will contribute to the ongoing initiatives they are working on, including Rights to Food, Dalit Rights, Educational Reform, Women’s Justice and Empowerment.

"chalo stems from recognising that there’s a gap in the media we consume. Despite global political, industrial and technological significance, culturally, South Asia’s status is hidden in the margins. With a long term to facilitate interdisciplinary collaborations while also elevating and showcasing peoples respective talents, چلو chalo aims to build, however we can, between people.”

Fabrizio Maurizi makes his debut on Infuse this October as he delivers his latest EP ‘Jumping’, backed by a remix from Pierre Codarin.

A staple within the Italian house and techno scene for over a decade, Bologna’s Fabrizio Maurizi is a producer and DJ now known across the globe for his seamless blend of the two styles across his productions and DJ sets. One half of the duo Bassa Clan, with material via their self-titled imprint, and a member of the Bolo Represent collective, Maurizi’s recent releases include EPs via labels such Bodyparts, Memoria, Want?, Re.face, whilst playing sets worldwide for renowned institutions such as fabric, Robert Johnson, Womb and Cocoricò. Next up, October signals the arrival of a new name to his catalogue as he heads to FUSE sister imprint Infuse to deliver three fresh productions in the form of his ‘Jumping’ EP – accompanied by bubbling UK talent Pierre Codarin on remix duties.

The slick and paired back title track ‘Jumping’ opens proceedings as Maurizi fuses minimal soundscapes with more jazz-influenced notes and tones, whilst Pierre Codarin’s remix ups the energy levels as he introduces metallic drum licks, spiralling electronics and a snaking bassline to the mix. On the flip, ‘Night and Day’ harnesses a classy blend of dubby chords, slinking hats and echoed vocals, before closing the package via the off-kilter rhythms and loose, glitch-driven drums of hypnotic after-hours cut ‘Caravel’.

A blossoming talent within the minimal house and deep tech sphere, Ray Mono is a producer and DJ with a serious amount of momentum behind him as we enter into the closing months of 2020. A favourite within Leeds’ underground house scene, the bubbling talent has emerged as a name of note within recent years releasing material via the likes of PIV Limited, META, Pleasure Zone and Do Not Sleep across the past 12 months alone whilst being tipped by Mixmag and Beatport amongst others. 1. A. Skate Dancer
    2. B. Skate Dancer (Patrick Topping Remix)

Continuing an already bustling 2020, that has seen him release on Relief Records and Glasgow Underground, Italian-talent Adapter makes an exciting debut on Hot Creations this November with Skate Dancer. The two-track EP includes a special remix from contemporary house heavyweight, Patrick Topping.

We’re graced with that feel-good eighties touch from the offset, as groovy female vocals shimmer amidst a pumping, 4x4 bassline on Skate Dancer. Sampling Doug Willis’ seminal 2000 track of the same name, the disco-inspired cut strikes the perfect balance between age-old funk rhythm and modern house swing, before Patrick Topping’s remix takes on a darker, techno-leaning tone with hard-hitting kick-hat combos and punchy, no-nonsense percussion.

Naples-based Adapter has experienced a meteoric rise in a career that has spanned multiple years. Releases on some of the genre’s most well-loved labels, including Riva Starr’s Snatch! Records and Green Velvet’s Relief have cemented his status as one of the scene’s true heavy hitters. Label-head of Trick and a mainstay in modern electronic music, Patrick Topping’s accolades speak for themselves. A Mixmag cover star, DJ mag ‘Best of British’ Award Winner as well as three-time DJ Award winner, the well-established Geordie’s latest venture is the label and party series, Trick. With sold-out showcases across the UK last year, alongside releases from the likes of Skream and Alex Virgo, there seems to be no end in sight for the Newcastle-born talent.

The Vision returns with the third single from their eponymous debut album, along with remixes from two of the scene’s most revered producers. ‘Missing’ treads the familiar tale of love lost with a stark openness, a funk-filled track underpinned by a catchy vocal hook sure to resonate with its listeners. As one half of The Vision, this release is the first where Ben Westbeech provides vocals as well as producing behind the scenes alongside Kon, perfectly matched with regular collaborator Andreya Triana to bring the heartfelt lyrics to life. On this special 12” package, underground hero Maurice Fulton’s remix opens the A-Side, an artist described by Resident Advisor as “making some of the most unhinged house out there”, his mix may strike listeners as surprising with its stripped-back feel. With extended instrumental breaks perfect for club play, the reflective feel of Maurice’s mix aptly suits the message of the record, as elegant guitar riffs and warm synths make his remix an irresistible version. The Accapella closes out the A-Side, an essential DJ tool that allows Andreya and Ben’s flawless vocals to really shine. On the flip, the original version of ‘Missing’ opens, before Swiss DJ Deetron provides his remix, impeccably executed with bubbling synths and snapping percussion, as the Character Records boss explores the emotional potential of dancefloor-destined house to compelling effect. ‘Missing’ is no exception to The Vison’s existing discography, as meaningful messaging is paired with flawless execution to produce a record with all the makings of a future classic.

    4. B2. Mojka In Space

London based record label and party High Praise are proud to welcome Russian producer / DJ extraordinaire Lay-Far to their ranks, following their run of sold out 12”s and widely acclaimed releases with the mind-bending “Soulful Encounters Of The 3rd Kind” EP.

Having previously released on the likes of Lumberjacks In Hell, Razor N’ Tape, Local Talk, BBE, AtJazz, Tru Thoughts and more, Lay-Far is an artist that needs little introduction. He has cemented himself as Russia’s leading purveyor of soulful, bass laden grooves.

Delivering four slabs of intergalactic dance-floor heat, “Soulful Encounters Of The 3rd Kind” sees Lay-Far casting our collective minds back through the mists of time to 1989, as alien crafts were landing in farmer’s fields up and down the M25 Motorway - bringing droves of earth-dwelling believers together, to commune in peace and move their bodies to frequencies from another dimension.

From the 80’s Electro infused bassweight of “Round & Round” to the frantic, chopped, canned-lightning energy of “Feel The Rhythm Of Your Soul” - Lay-Far perfectly captures the raw tension and energy of a era lost to memory, but now enjoying a renaissance through the collective consciousness of this world tipped upside down.

    On the release, Lay-Far says:
“I had lots of fun working on this record. It was all about letting go of the ego control and going with the flow - feeling the music and culture waves taking me somewhere new and fresh but familiar at the same time. Cosy feeling!”

High Praise is a vessel for uplifting, open minded music, made with good energy. Captained by Hugo Mari and Josh Byrne, they have released music from the likes of Yadava, EVM128, James Rudie, Partner Music and more, gaining support from the likes of DJ Mag, Jamz Supernova, Gilles Peterson, Tom Ravenscroft & many more.

    3. B2. Mr. Lee’s Trophy Theme

As the dancefloor continues to be out of bounds you can rely on Freerange to bring you house music which runs that little bit deeper and more soulful, lifting spirits during these darker times. Following hot on the heels of Laroye’s Be The Change, the label offer another heartwarming release, this time from Brooklyn-based artist Greg Paulus. Perhaps better known as one half of No Regular Play, Greg has appeared on labels as diverse as Soul Clap, Let’s Play House, Ghostly International and Kompakt.

For the City Movements EP Greg has delivered three brilliant originals which showcase his talents as a trumpet player, vocalist and producer. Opener Breezy Point comes correct with Greg’s vocals coming to the fore backed by a crunchy house groove, a solid, analogue bassline and simmering Moog synths.

Flipping over we have Do You Love Me? co-produced with fellow Brooklyn artist Taylor Bense, and which takes a jazzier approach with Greg’s filtering trumpet arrangements adding a warm, organic depth to the track whilst the Prince-inspired house groove keeps the funk factor running high.

Closing out the release we have Mr. Lee’s Trophy Theme in which Greg and co-producer Teddy Stuart reimagine the scene as a certain film director arrives to receive his latest award. There’s plenty of attitude, a hint of sleaze and a dash of humour but above all else we have bags of soul emanating from within the layers of warm pads, Wurli chords, trumpet lines and hooky vocal.

Born in Croydon, UK in 1960 and working in Switzerland for decades, Michal Turtle has led a
storied career as a composer, arranger, technician and producer, consistently aligned with some
of the most exciting bands and projects within the realms of pop and experimental music. A figure
as masterful in the realm of expansive ambient recordings as advertising jingles, it’s only in recent
years that Michal’s solo productions have gained acclaim and a cult following that continues to
    grow ever wider.

Turtle made a long-awaited return earlier in 2020 with the extended ‘On a Canvas Lived a Baby’, a
one-sided twelve of new material released on Planisphere Editorial. Now, the Basel based label
invites a diverse and international cross-section of electronic musicians to reinterpret the artist’s
back-catalogue, each delivering a thoughtful remix driven by the same sense of curiosity,
exploration and genre-blurring that Turtle himself helped pioneer. Each track on the remixes
collection was originally recorded between 1980 and 1985, in between Turtle’s regular tours with
    established bands.

Opening the collection, Laurel Halo adopts her LH alias for a textural and tripping revisit to
‘Phantoms of Dreamland’, transporting the haunting original to a hyper-detailed alternate
dimension. Zoning back in, Neue Grafik finds typically eclectic form with ‘Men in Green’, turning
the dials and blending ideas as if tuning between the emerging musical scenes that defined
Turtle’s early-eighties life in Camden, London. In stark contrast, avant-garde polymath Felicia
Atkinson designs a ‘Fennel and Moon’ version, weaving between earthy field recordings and an
aching piano line, conjuring an almost ritualistic atmosphere, far from the city.

Radical musical turns continue to define the collection as son of Detroit, Jimmy Edgar takes
‘Rainwater Fijit’ down a dark, damp tunnel, expanding on the pitter patter of Turtle’s more
outlandish studio experiments, blending vocal experiments with fresh funk. Colombian
experimentalist Lucrecia Dalt pulls further bizarre shapes from a patchwork of samples, a heaving,
gasping industrial shuffle, before French producer D.K. returns a stronger rhythm, both building
on Turtle’s lovingly naive tributes to the legacy of sample culture and his trusty ARP2600.

Ostgut Ton mainstay and Panorama Bar resident Nick Höppner proceeds to sensitively rewire
‘Maid Of The Mist’ into a blossoming, introspective celebration of melody and ambience, an
almost weightless experience that lends itself well as a breather before Luca Duran’s analogue,
acid-tinged take on Spookie Boogie takes Turtle’s esoteric touches back into the direction of the
funk and italo records at the heart of his initial inspiration.

The Remixes final chapter continues to expand in distinct and wide-reaching sonic directions.
London’s Object Blue seems to slow time itself across her sublime interpretation of ‘Ball Of Fire’.
Initially Turtle’s tribute to Howard Hawks 1941 film classic and the legacy of old Hollywood, worlds
further collide into rolling, weightless bliss.

Fellow Swiss citizen Mehmet Aslan stirs an enchanting, percussive mystery that unfolds with great
pleasure on El Teb, while Parco Palaz conjures not one but two radically different remixes of ‘Are
You Psychic?’, demonstrating both their imaginative nous, as well as the depth of Turtle’s legacy.
Finally, an irresistible vocal contribution from Oso Leone adds even further colour and joy to ‘Maid
of The Mist’, sending off this ambitious collection on a transformative, dream-pop high.
With further details set to be revealed, there is an ongoing development focused around the
accompanying art and visuals. The Peruvian born and now Amsterdam based graphic designer
Jonathan Castro leads the art direction, along with visual artist Chris Harnan. Both artists look to
explore the intersection between sound, imagery and its reorientation, exhibited through the
    musical contributors and visual translation.

“I am happy and honoured to have been the spark for this remarkable compilation.
The magnificent work done by this collection of very special people speaks for itself, so listen and
be transported. It has been half a lifetime since my original tracks were written, and I am gratified
to know that they are somehow still relevant enough to be reworked and reinvented.”

Techno pioneer Robert Hood debuts on Rekids with a blistering release entitled ‘Nothing Stops Detroit’ ahead of an album this winter.

Over the last three decades the Underground Resistance alum has continually been at the forefront of the techno genre whilst releasing on many of electronic music’s finest labels to boot. In recent years his solo outings have appeared on a select few labels such as Dekmantel, Music Man Records, not to mention his very own M-Plant. Having made appearances on Rekids in the past remixing label boss Radio Slave - both as Robert Hood (‘Don’t Stop No Sleep’) and Floorplan (‘Feel The Same’) - the Detroit originator now drops a four track release in his official debut on the label.

With its machine aesthetic, ‘Nothing Stops Detroit’ is unmistakably Hood from start to finish. Precision kick drums propel the title track forward as stuttering effects and deep stabs work alongside a march band rhythm. ‘7 Mile Dog’ is next with its grainy synths and scintillating pads, making way for the meandering bassline, rattling atmospherics and trippy, oscillating top line of ‘Ignite A War’. Finally, ‘The Cure’ is a cacophony of twisted percussion and rumbling low-end that energetically concludes matters.

    2. B. Live My Life (Nic Fanciulli Remix)

Radio Slave returns to his Rekids label with ‘Live My Life’, including a remix from Saved Records’ boss Nic Fanciulli.

Responsible for some of the most recognisable vocal tracks in techno for the past 15 years, Radio Slave’s latest sees him turn in yet another tough, infectious cut that uses soulful vocal refrains as hooks. Airtight, rolling grooves have been a prominent feature in much of Radio Slave’s work, and ‘Live My Life’ is no different, paired with occasionally overlapping vocals it’s a masterclass in tension and release.

On the flip, Grammy-nominated and globally renowned DJ and producer Nic Fanciulli cleverly reinterprets Edwards’ original, in a version that sees a pulsing, offbeat bassline and ever-evolving drums drive the track towards vocal crescendos throughout. Stirring, memorable, and yet another outstanding release from one of dance music’s finest.

Detroit pioneer Robert Hood joins Radio Slave’s Rekids label with a new album entitled ‘Mirror Man’ this November.

A founding member of Underground Resistance alongside Mad Mike Banks and Jeff Mills, Robert Hood is one of techno’s originators and his decorated career spans three decades. The American artist and his M-Plant label laid down the blueprint for minimal techno and 1994’s ‘Minimal Nation’ on Axis was a definitive album that further cemented Hood’s reputation as one of the greats to emerge from the Motor City.

Since then, Hood has gone on to release on many of electronic music’s best labels like Tresor, Peacefrog, Music Man Records, Dekmantel and more. After a busy few years making music and touring as Floorplan alongside his daughter Lyric, Hood now joins Rekids with an album showcasing his innate knack for crafting paired back but intricate rhythms that deliver punch and soul.

Opening with the cinematic ‘Through A Looking Glass Darkly’, the album quickly flows into precise, powerful four four. There’s mesmerising cuts such as ‘Fear Not’ with its throbbing bass and spectral vocals, the twisted and off-key ‘Run Bobby, Run’, not to mention muscular tracks designed to light up dancefloors like the machine driven ‘A System of Mirrors’ or the mesmerising ‘Face In The Water’. Hood also breaks things up with downtempo and mind-bending interludes, including the tranquil yet spooky ‘Black Mirror’ and the beatless and murky ‘Freeze’. Each of these are aural feasts that demonstrate his vast musical pallet.

From start to finish ‘Mirror Man’ is an education in finesse from one of techno’s most heroic artists, landing on one of electronic music’s most important labels.

Theo Nasa makes his debut on Rekids this December with ‘Worldwide Ravers EP’.

The Alien Sound Trax boss, who has previously appeared on the likes of World Unknown, Suara, and UNCAGE, makes his mark on Radio Slave’s imprint with the hard-hitting and distinct ‘Worldwide Ravers EP’.

Deeply infused with the unmistakable sound of the UK, Nasa draws from his broad range of influences for his EP, distilling elements of Jungle, Rave, and Hardcore into his own brand of meticulously crafted, difficult-to-pigeonhole techno. Opener ‘Dubska’, clocking in at over ten minutes long, is a relentless and fast-paced affair, bubbling along at breakneck speed with the help of classic vocal samples, while ‘World Dance (Rinse Out Mix)’ fuses breakbeats and droning bass to create a high energy track that twists and turns at 140bpm. Field recordings of birds in ‘Summertime Raving In London’ sit alongside classic drum kits and emotive chords while living up to its titular character.

Hooversound have steadily been growing since they dropped their debut release from Hyroglifics and Sinistarr back in March. SHERELLE and NAINA haven’t let 2020 interfere with their plans to continue to share gems the label have been sitting on for a while. Since then, the Hoover duo have followed up in June to deliver a powerful EP from Deft, alongside releasing an experimental dubstep record from emerging producer HØST back at the end of August, which included a rowdy re-work from Om Unit. Next up on unstoppable Hooversound, the ladies have combined two of their favourite artists on a split EP, bringing together two individual tracks from Private Caller and Mani Festo for the first time on one four track project, on “Hooversound Presents”.

Hailing from the Midlands, Nottingham based DJ and producer Private Caller has turned a lot of heads recently. He takes his inspiration from Jungle, Grime, Hardcore and heavy Techno. Known for the way he uses old Jungle Breaks and 90’s Rave music, Private Caller brings a new and refreshing take on underground Dance, which has led him to work with Tumble Audio, One Puf and Hardcore Energy to name a few. Enter Mani Festo, a producer and DJ based in London, with roots deep in Hardcore and Jungle and has had ongoing support and plays from several established radio DJs here in the UK. Mani Festo is known for his heavyweight breakbeat sound and his collective/ label (alongside Denham Audio, Borai, LMajor) ‘Club Glow’, who have been making a lot of noise this year with their resurgence of rave and breakbeat crossovers alongside captivating visuals. The
roducer hasn’t gone unnoticed having released on iconic labels such as Rupture, E-Beamz, Warehouse Rave and Swamp 81.

What makes HOO04 so unique, is the combination of both these artists on one project. Both Mani Festo and Private Caller deliver their signature styles on their individual tracks, making the entire project an explosive yet nostalgic blend of breaks and rave. Each track is a standalone anthem, but together, the four tracks combined are a nostalgic acid trip, that belongs in any club or radio set. Having already had support from LCY, NAINA, and Nastia, it also gained a lot of attention in SHERELLES recent Dekmantel mix.

Following the release of Masters At Work remixes of ‘Antigravity Love’, taken from electronic hero Krust’s critically-acclaimed album ‘The Edge Of Everything’, the A-list versions keep flowing with Four Tet, Batu and Damian Lazarus each re-working a different track from the LP.

Sparkling like stars with a pretty melody, Four Tet’s interpretation of ‘Negative Returns’ also packs a deceptively heavy punch, maintaining the original’s hurtling velocity, fuelled by a huge sub-bass engine.

The spiralling beat-and-bass science of fellow Bristolian Batu’s version takes ‘Space Oddity’ and deconstructs it like a cubist portrait, matching the main man himself in pure outside-the-box expression.

Crosstown Rebels boss Damian Lazarus maintains Krust’s epic adventure narrative, retelling the tale in his own words, taking recognisable parts from the original and transposing them into a groovy cosmic house odyssey.

TAU is pleased to announce the return of Spanish prodigy Upercent to the label for his second EP release. The Valencia-based producer goes against the grain when it comes to creating electronic music, operating in his own zone and establishing a unique sonic fingerprint. His sound is instantly identifiable and has landed him releases with labels like Kompakt, microCastle, or Watergate. Now he’s back with the TAU family to deliver a selection of avant-garde freshness…

The EP begins with ‘Lupa Clup’, a menacing cut with a rolling rhythm at its core. Upercent gently teases in an eccentric melody that adds a lighter tone to the track and, before we know it, a fevered breakdown arrives to guide us into the booming second half.

‘Esser Conscient’ follows on with more pounding drums setting an ominous mood. A bright pad sweeps in adding an air of mystery, while Upercent gets busy with the percussion, as per usual. In the top layer a variety of keys and wind instruments stir up an emotionally-charged atmosphere before we enter the latter part of this cut, which is full of pulsating energy.

Then we have ‘Carta Oberta’ - an oscillating, rhythmic workout that will ensnare your mind within minutes. This one is pretty minimal, with considered arrangement and the kind of original percussion that Upercent has become renowned for. The track oozes character and takes you on a real journey. Inspired!

Next up is ‘Mentres Tant’ with its groaning bassline and whimsical effects. Once the beat kicks in you’ll be bopping your head uncontrollably. Again, there is just so much inventive flavour in this cut, such an original take on electronic music; there are piano keys, strange twisted vocal clips and an almighty breakdown.

Up first, Peppermint Jam boss Mousse T. opens the release, weaving in his signature bouncy melodies and funk-flavoured grooves into the track. Up next, Classic label-mate and house expert Oliver Dollar brings in a raw, edgier sound on his Boomty Mix, with an aptly bumping bassline. On the flip side, Classic label boss Luke Solomon provides his Clubland remix, enlisting funky guitar riffs and energetic percussion. Finally, Livin’ Proof and Barbershop Records founder Snips takes a stripped back approach, highlighting Mike’s unmistakable Windy City drawl with jazzier elements to give the mix a vintage feel. Uniting the worlds of rap and house, Mike Dunn’s ‘If I Can’t Get Down’ is a joyous celebration of what he does best, with this remix package securing its position as a house essential.

For the last 20 years London-based author and party organiser Tim Lawrence has dedicated himself to excavating the history of New York City party culture and bringing some of the most powerful aspects of that culture to London’s dance scene, from where it has ricocheted around the world.

Having conducted the first and set of major interviews with David Mancuso of the New York City Loft, Lawrence started to host Loft-style Lucky Cloud Sound System parties with David and friends in London in June 2003. In February 2004 he published the first of three published three pioneering histories that have excavated and championed the previously overlooked foundations of contemporary party culture: Love Saves the Day: A History of American Dance Music (1970-79), Hold on to Your Dreams: Arthur Russell and the Downtown Music Scene (1973-92), and Life and Death on the New York Dance Floor (1980-83). Since 2018 Lawrence has hosted and DJed at the community audiophile party "All Our Friends. Paper Magazine describes him as the “reigning authority on the history of dance music in New York”.

With knowledge to share, and a readership as well as a dance floor to feed, Lawrence released Life and Death on the New York Dance Floor as the debut imprint on Reappearing Records. A year in the making, a compilation featuring rare and iconic tracks that appear in his much-loved and heavily-thumbed classic Love Saves the Day amounts to the follow-up. The collection features several tracks selected regularly by Mancuso, the party host who exerted a prophetic and unparalleled influence on New York City party culture, as charted by Lawrence. It also includes choice picks from groundbreaking DJs such as Michael Cappello, Steve D’Acquisto, Francis Grasso, Richie Kaczor, Larry Levan and Nicky Siano, whose expressive contributions are faithfully recorded in Love Saves the Day. The compilation traces how disco grew out of the record collections and intuitive sensibility of these and other DJs, offering a unique survey of the era’s expansive sonic palette.

"I Get Deep (Shelter Mix)" is pure peak time joy, based around a rough looping sample lifted from Blue Magic's seminal Philly anthem "Welcome To The Club" from 1976 and with Clark's vocals telling us how he gets down in the club over some heavyweight drums. In LNTG own words of how their "No More War Rework" came around :

About 6 months ago, just before I set off on my 5 month tour of Europe I got a message from a good friend of mine asking me if I would edit a track that he loves.
I said of course, and asked him what track.
Turns out its a big favourite of mine also.
'Why Can't We Live Together' by Timmy Thomas is an amazing song with a strong message that is even more relevant today than it was back in 1972.
The message is clear, it's simple, it's beautiful.
I'm saddened by recent events around the world and I've always tried to spread love through music, because for me, music is love.
I hope you share the message and enjoy.

Mint Condition continue their mission excavating the outer fringes of classic House and Techno. Unreleased mixes, classics and overlooked gems mined from the last 20+ of contemporary dance music are the order of the day. From Chicago, Detroit and New York to London and beyond, Mint Condition have got their expert digging hats on to bring you exclusive heat and those rarer than rare jams that have been on your wants list for years! Dig in....

Rewind to 1994, something brand new is stirring in the studio of the Housey Doingz crew, a fresh stripped down, swinging sort of funk emanating from the monitors. This would be their very first record as a unit and they definitely didn't know what sort of impact it would have in the coming decades. A record like this would certainly have sounded alien back then, but boy you can guarantee it caught people's ears! Kicking off with that infamous vocal sample 'Brothers' is a bonafide roller of the highest order, punctuated by dubbed out pianos too - devastating! 'Brothers Bump' is almost the 2nd part of the first cut, while they share some of the characteristics, it's it's own little world of acidic funk, try it - you might like it... 'Poet' welcomes us to the B-side, those cymbals just pull you in, almost jazz style, this one's a breaky minimal peaking number, killer. 'Magical' is the EP closer, and it's another total trippy weapon akin to the output of Holy Ghost Inc and similar outfits with it's building wall of acid and clipped vox. The whole record is so varied and brilliant it had noted journalist, producer and DJ Dave Mothersole proclaim "the first tech house record is arguably this". A truly rare record that every home should have, now on the streets again. Wicked.

The Brothers EP has been legitimately re-released with the full involvement of the Housey Doingz massive and was remastered by London's Curve Pusher from the original DAT's especially for Mint Condition. 100% legit, licensed and released. Dug, remastered, repackaged and brought to you by the caring folks at your favourite reissue label - Mint Condition!

ADID's Summer Sampler has become a joy to compile each year. Newer names and more familiar ones bring different ranges of musical emotion to our little corner of the dance music universe. Daytime dance floor bombs from Double Touch, Amand and Madraas sit alongside the more cerebral and subtle grooves from artists like Mass Digital and Death on the Balcony. We love all the tracks on here and each and every one has been heard on All Day I Dream dancefloors (yes, dancefloors...remember those!) the past year. We hope you love them as much as we do.

Dig in....

Well well well, what do we have here? Some certified, 100% pure solid tech-house gold from the masters, that's what. Look at the line up, those who make up The Delinquents: Terry Francis, Nathan Coles and Matthew Bushwacka! B, that should grab your attention. This slab of Wiggle sonics, Room On Top, is the real deal indeed, all the way from back in 1998 this is that premium gear. It's all here, the funk is present in spades, the swagger, the breakbeats - you name it. 4 more tracks of primetime cuts, out of press since the late 1990's, ready to do damage yet again and sounding as fresh and as futuristic as it did back then. This is the kind of record you *hope* will show up in the racks when you're out diggin' but it never happens, no way. Expensive for the last few years, this repress will fill the gap for you and will undoubtedly enable you to rock a few dancefloors in the interim! Totally fresh, totally essential.

The Room On Top EP has been legitimately re-released with the full involvement of The Delinquentz / Wiggle and was remastered by London's Curve Pusher from the original DAT's especially for Mint Condition. 100% legit, licensed and released. Dug, remastered, repackaged and brought to you by the caring folks at your favourite reissue label - Mint Condition!

Sound is a potent force that can awaken your purpose and re-balance your spirit. It has the power to relax, as well as inspire you, through the positive therapy of sound vibrations. Elemental Resonance is a trailblazing meditation album where vibrational sound practitioner, Tracie Storey, combines the energy waves made by music, with positive words of love and harmony to produce inner peace, deep relaxation and a higher spiritual connection.

Storey explains “The idea for this album came to me 2 years ago when I was living in Montreal, Canada. I’d been learning to form shapes, textures and colour with sound and going deep within the architecture of my own inner space. These powerful compositions have really helped me on my journey. Creating transformative tools are now part of my life’s work, using the medium of vibrational sound which transcends all boundaries”

Storey guides you through a series of mindful meditations - each connected to the seven energy chakras - and each supported by sound vibrations, colours to visualise, and positive affirmations to re-balance your entire being and bring you waves of calmness, strength, warmth and joy.

Released on Celestial Being, label boss Felix Buxton (Basement Jaxx), says “I’m thrilled to support this
project, everywhere I look people are discovering more about Vibration and how it affects them. Tracie is leading the way forward for new generations, uncovering more of our potential as humans. This is a great way to switch off the world and switch on to your deeper self.”

Storey has been active as a vibrational sound practitioner, for the past 5 years. Previous to six years training under Master Fabien Maman, who’s one of the world's leading experts on vibrational sound therapy, founder of the Tama-Do Academy. She also travelled the globe as a DJ on the international dance scene (releasing on Ministry of Sound and producing mixes for the likes of Kiss FM).

Discover happiness, creativity, and infinite possibilities.
