BIOTIC is our first release on ALLFEELINGS MUSIC, a label focused on emotive dance music. All releases will be available exclusively on vinyl.

AF01 is the first self release from London based DJ and Producer ALLFEELINGS. This is a 2 track DJ tool release very reminiscent of Detroit Techno. You can hear crisp and warm sounds alongside Jazz and Funk influenced rhythms. The A side soundtracks a big city during rush hour while the B Side pulls
you in with deep synths and percussion.

This release has the support from Mark Broom.

    1. A. Untitled
    2. B. Untitled

ALLFEELINGS is releasing a 12" in dedication to his love for early dub techno coming out of Berlin.

The idea behind the title “Untitled” is to give the listeners more space to interpret the tracks themselves rather than being distracted with any track names.

As ALLFEELINGS MUSIC label is about the amalgamation of sounds and rhythms to bring about a visceral experience, this can be observed in the African inspired percussion on side A and the subtle changes and movement it has throughout its length. Side B focuses more on easy listening with sounds and dry textures meandering slowly demanding the listener’s attention at all times.

The other great thing about this record is it works really well pitched down which can be used to great effect during warm ups and after hours.

This release has the support from Ario and O:utlier from Astral Industries.

As the title suggests, Joakim recorded this new album last year at Studio Venezia, the installation/sculptural ensemble/recording studio created by Xavier Veilhan for the prestigious 2017 Venice Art Biennale. Built inside the French Pavilion & inspired by the grotto-like Merzbau by Kurt Schwitters, Studio Venezia had dozens of artists create and record there over the 6 months of the Biennale (from Chassol to Brian Eno, from Joakim to Sebastien Tellier), invited by Xavier Veilhan himself with the help of co-curator Christian Marclay.

With an impressive collection of rare instruments from medieval horns to rare modular synths (Baschet crystals and percussions, a Buchla, a clavinet...), Studio Venezia was an amazing creative playground for the adventurous musician. Those instruments were captured by a team of sound engineers in the best possible way thanks to Nigel Godrich’s (Beck, Radiohead...) mobile studio loaded with state of the art vintage recording gear.

Before going there in May 2017, Joakim examined the instrument list and the specific context of a studio open to the public within an international contemporary art exhibition to anticipate his creative process. Instead of drafting compositions and demos ahead of the recording session, he decided to have an “in-situ” approach by creating a system involving the visitors of the Studio in the composition phase. Joakim asked random visitors of the pavilion to pick a word, a letter (between A and G), tap a tempo and sometimes choose the instruments that he would play for each piece. The word was translated into a chord using a transcription table Joakim invented. Hence the song titles made of the given word plus the name and origin of the contributor. The music was then mostly improvised, based on those chords, scales and tempi. The recordings were then taken back to New York where Joakim made some light editing and mixed the pieces.

In terms of influences, Joakim tried to channel the spirit of proto-ambient German heroes Cluster, 60s and 70s modal jazz, Japanese evocative minimalism and drone composers’ hypnotic transcendence.

One can hear the studio through these recordings, which was the point, to use the studio as an instrument, like the kraut rock pioneers did. You may hear the floor cracking, people talking or coughing, and the peculiar quality of music recorded in a large space with its acoustic properties, a rare occurrence when everyone is now working from small home studios and major large studios are closing down. This album also marks a return for Joakim to his musical education as a classically trained pianist as you can hear him improvise on the piano (“Arms”, “Air”, “Dream”), Fender Rhodes (“Trust”) or harpsichord (“Absense”).

Following the release of The Studio Venezia Sessions, Joakim will create a live performance based on his experience in Venice. The premiere of this new solo performance is commissioned by the Villa Medicis in Rome for their Villa Aperta festival early June. More shows will follow.

Out on The Vinyl Factory on June 15h 2018.

    4. B2. The Awakening

Mysticisms eyes summer luv dancin’ as new-not-new Deep Dean emerges from the Antipodean well to offer sunrise anthems for the me generation.

A man of mystery, but too tight to be a total new-jack-wack. Releases on a who’s who confirm the tight-tight-tight production matches the swing brimming of technique, confidence and factor one, fun.

Undiluted vibe alives, we ride Ocean Groove, with the Original setting us afloat, teasing the monkey, bassline for open skies and warm hearts. You feel good? The drums club, the hats fly high and that’s all you need.

Someone say ‘more Piano’? Hop, skips, yearning keys and whooosh. Beyond plastic dreamz, break down, up to the stars.

Basement dub, tribes and community embrace, progressive, House muzak. 6 hours in deep to Tenaglia, heads down Barberellas, past or present, today or tomorrow, it’s a way of life.

To close The Awakening presents. Beats familiar, but in a new (beat) style. Eastern strings and bump-to-jump. Never get off that caravan train.

Irreverence aside, such music brings a light against an oft-overbearing angle, where fake it till you make, fashionista turned DJ gimmick – instant emperor’s new clothes – are carried off by an unquestioning hype.

Under that, bumbling away, is a closeness and realness that will remain, whatever the dollar thinks. Love is the key. It makes the world go around.

    Join the Mystery.

Ask anyone about their first time hearing Lord Of The Isles, and invariably accounts will describe having unexpectedly wading into a deep river of sound. Rich and immersive, each of Lord Of The Isles’ creations has stood singularly unique and opted towards the sublime. Since 2010 Neil MacDonald has channeled his imagination musically through Lord Of The Isles with projects weaving ambient, deep techno, analogue house, and Italo with Balearic flair and cinematic expansiveness. As a DJ, MacDonald has been building momentum by touring his LOTI moniker throughout Europe’s club circuit, with stops at Berghain/Panorama Bar, Concrete and Trouw. As a producer, LOTI betrays MacDonald’s revere for the vast Highlands of his native Scotland - mimicking natural beauty with a deft balancing of elements. To house his diverse bank of influences LOTI has released across a range of labels including Permanent Vacation, Mule Musiq, Ene, Phonica, Firecracker, Shevchenko and ESP Institute.

Lord Of The Isles’ four-track “Infras” EP, forthcoming on the Barcelona imprint Lone Romantic, demonstrates MacDonald’s continued mastery of tone and timbre, mood and groove. The title track kicks off by intertwining stringed synthtopia with an acidic staccato grounded in a rich low-end pulse. “W5 Alpha” continues the all-enveloping warmth of “Infras” base layer with a deliciously disparate palate of sounds, driven by a celestial arpeggio and a dusty collage of breaks. The B-side sets the listener loose in a garden of synthetic vines that pierce the long-decay smothering of bass with “Q-bit”; a track that maintains equal kinship with the bouncing exploration of a dance floor as with the cool tones and discrete resolutions of an Henri Rousseau painting. “Three Times Eleven” reads as a tribute to MacDonald’s early fascination with John Carpenter and Vangelis soundtracks, combining emotive synth arpeggios and cyborg vocal washes in a fly-by depiction of an eerie and beautiful sonic landscape.

Glitterbox resident Dimitri From Paris and remixing pioneer Tom Moulton present their retouched mixes of Ron Hall & The Muthafunkaz modern day soul classic ‘The Way You Love Me’ now available on 12” vinyl. Initially released in 2006, Marc Evans provides velvet-smooth vocals complimented by background harmonies and timeless disco production. For his iconic T.S.O.P. remix Dimitri From Paris enlisted the help of Salsoul Orchestra founder Vincent Montana, Jr. for fresh strings as well as a new full orchestra arrangement in his version, and here he gives it an update with his previously unreleased ‘Dim’s T.S.O.P. Version - Dimitri from Paris Glitterbox Retouch’. Tom Moulton’s retouched sweet-sounding ‘Philly Re-Grooved Remix’, previously released on Harmless in 2013, comes laden with guitar riffs, dreamy harps and xylophone for even more instrumental glory. Two disco legends come together under one stunningly soulful Glitterbox release leasing new life into this timeless record.

The next release on Crosstown Rebels sees Made By Pete come together once again with vocalist Jem Cooke. Returning to Damian Lazarus’ impressive imprint, Made By Pete invites Diynamic label boss Solomun and Gruuv founders Audiojack to take on remix duties.

The original cut of So Long opens up the EP. You are at once immersed in its trance-inducing elements, intensified by Cooke’s powerfully sensual vocals. Solomun shapes the title track into a grittier, industrial version whilst Audiojack’s leans on the more percussive side, with ambient sounds and a prominent vocal hook. Closing the EP is Modify Saturn, a track graced by tribal drums that beckon you to succumb to the groove.

Made By Pete has been carving a name for himself in the dance music scene over the past thirteen years. He’s had releases on respected labels such as DFTD, Crosstown Rebels and Kerri Chandler’s MadTech Records. His music has been supported by some of the scene’s most respected taste-makers from Pete Tong to Joris Voorn and Eats Everything to Groove Armada. Jem Cooke has lent her stunning vocal talent to some major musical players including Cher, Zero 7, Kate Simko, Martin Garrix and Hot Since 82.

    4. B2. Rage

Anyone who’s followed Maurice Aymard’s Galaktika label over the years will be all too aware of the imprint’s leaning toward eclectic sounds. It’s an ethos that mirrored in the work of Aymard himself and regardless of whether he’s turning his hand to tech house sounds or more straight-up techno jams, his is a way of working that’s endeared him to many over the years. His latest is a case in point. The 75th chapter in the Galaktika discography, the Into the Night EP serves up an array of sounds that are enticing as they are upbeat and intriguing.

Getting us underway is the sounds of the title track. An unfurling beast of a track that’s loaded with dramatic tension throughout, it’s an eerie cut that’s characterised by its clever bells and some incessant percussion. A full on track that’s not to be handled lightly, it’s repetitive nature and sporadic vocal charms is indicative of Levon Vincent at his best.

‘Shinning’, a more progressive cut, follows after. Another track that’s notable for the suspense that lingers throughout, it serves up a nice stylistic alternative to what’s arrived before. Aymard then goes all out on the frankly astounding sounds of ‘Rage’. A propulsive gem of the type that sees the producer greatly rewarded for trying something that bit different, it’s a special sort of track that takes on various tones throughout but always stays captivating. Seeing us out soon after is Eduardo de la Calle’s remix of the latter. The Cadenza man is well versed in all things deep and dextrous, and his interpretation serves up a fitting example of his talents. Although it starts on a melodic tip, it too soon brings the listener on a thoroughly captivating but unexpected journey. Much like the rest of this EP, De la Calle’s remix is full of surprises from the off.

You know when the dj drops something so special you’re mentally forced to ask for the track and the reply you get is ”its my own unreleased track”. That’s how I (Art Alfie) stumbled upon all three of these. About ten years ago I witnessed Van Rivers & The Subliminal Kid (Peder Mannerfelt) turn Berghain upside-down with the dark techno epos ”Mars Attacks”. Around the same time I had the luck to see Nils Westerlund boogle minds with the broken beat psychedelics of ”Suspiria” at a Stockholm Open Air. Last but not least, a couple of years ago I heard ”Thicker Than Blood” for the first time, like the Sirens in greek mythology, it lured people on to the dance floor at Stockholms classic summer hot spot F12. I’ve been playing these tracks ever since and Im beyond happy I get to share them with the world at this point. //Art Alfie

Haunted brings with it a bass that you can feel reverberating off the concrete walls of a darkened club, interspersed with an eerie melody. Following his recent release Americas on the label, Leftroom Records boss Matt Tolfrey brings his groove and a bouncier bassline to proceedings with his version of the title track. Dunjacka completes the EP, with Nordgren sewing together a techno beat with broken vocal stabs, underpinned by a throbbing groove throughout.

Tiger Stripes has collaborated with legendary names such as Kerri Chandler, Adeva, Leroy Burgess, Riva Starr and Jerome Sydenham, with his brand of deep and futuristic techno seeing releases on some of the underground’s biggest imprints including Desolat, Drumcode and Cajual.

From getting the demos during my breakfast, the record was agreed and in the schedule by the time I’d finished my dinner.
Currently if you cut Austin Ato I believe he’ll bleed an amazing record. This record swings between a peak-time hands in the air pink loveheart vibe, hot and heavy classic sample based house, and some real basement orientated machine-made jacking house.
Its like a quadruple A Side release, and I personally find it impossible to pick a favourite on here.

    1. A - You Got The Stuff
    2. B - Look To Each Other For Love

'You got the stuff' is not 'Lovely day' - that much is true. This one's a wigged out, extended, trip into deep space from 1978 that is truly baffling.
Of course, it features Bill singing for the first half of the track but then all of a sudden we're launched into a cosmic wormhole as everything just falls back and the track is stripped of any earthly qualities. People find themselves asking 'this...... this is Bill Withers?' as lazer guided synths and rock solid drums pull us into the sonic vortex. Truly amazing. Obviously a nugget like this has not gone unnoticed and has been edited and chopped and sampled deftly by the more sarcastic, left-field oriented crate diggers out there but it has never been reissued legitimately - Until now!

A hugely sought after and collectible gem right here, backed with the wistful slow jam 'Look To Each Other For Love' as per the original 1978 Columbia promo 12" version. This left-field, cosmic classic has been legally reissued by Above Board distribution in conjunction with the legal rights holders - Sony Music Entertainment. This high quality repress features original Columbia pink label Disco 12" artwork and has been remastered from Sony's original sources by Optimum Mastering, Bristol UK.

    1. A Play Thing
    2. B Like

Following the release of “All My Dreams / Innocence” last month, today Róisín Murphy unveils the second pair of tracks in her series of four scintillating 12”singles produced by Maurice Fulton and shared across consecutive months this summer through The Vinyl Factory.

Having taken control of all aspects of her work in recent years, Murphy delivers yet another amazing vision with a series of films to go along side her new music.  Filmed over a two day residency in London’s The Store X, the “Plaything” video follows “All My Dreams”

From Moloko onwards, Murphy has always gravitated towards a deep groove. But here, with Baltimore maverick musician/producer/DJ Maurice Fulton, she's gone and made some of the most hip-twitching, pleasure-centre-stimulating music of her life. And it's being released in the only correct way for sounds so intimately connected to the dancefloor: on a series of 12” singles, with stunning graphics from Portuguese New Yorker Bráulio Amado.

“Ultimately its about dancing,” says Murphy. “My kind of dancing: all low and funky, allowing itself to be a little out of control. It's all very simple in a way but Maurice has spent a lifetime immersed in music for dancing. His experience and depth of knowledge is undeniable. I did as I was told!”

Across all eight original songs, her lyrics are intense, exploratory, probing into dark parts of her own and the listener's psyche – all the while working on the immediate, endorphin-stimulating dancefloor level too – and her voice is finer, richer, more expressive than ever. The tracks are full of the unadulterated, but deeply warped funk which Maurice has honed over his decades of dancefloor experience. This is as vivid and urgent as Murphy has ever sounded, and it bodes more than well for whatever comes next in her absurdly exciting on going voyage of discovery. “I've got more projects on the go,” she says; “I've got some new and exciting collaborators on board and I'm hoping an interesting patchwork of ideas and formats will emerge in due time. But for now I'm just gonna dance it out!!!”

Hot off a couple of 12” from Topher Horn, Rocksteady Disco follows up with its first compilation featuring a heap of heavily sampled originals from more wellknown editors. Pontchartrain leads the release off with a summerinspired aural prozac number. Next up is notorious Detroit editor Lafleur, busting out this original milkysmooth Detroit boogie house production. A slight little rearrangement from Rocksteady Disco label boss Peter Croce makes this one a bit more cohesive for the DJs. Lyon, France's G2S (In Any Case) kicks off the flip with a bigbottomed stomper reminiscent of some MCDE 'Raw Cuts'. Pontchartrain bookends this release with a track that puts the 'rocksteady' in Rocksteady Disco, with heavy analogmeetselectro drum programming and complete with Pontchartrain on vocoder duties.

Support from Superbreak, Osmose (Smokecloud), Blair French (Fat Finger Cosmic), The Silver Rider (Whiskey Pickle), Thelonious Beats Gillespie

    3. B2 Bufe Bufe

Peter Croce takes the baton back from Blair French for Rocksteady Disco's 9th release entitled Agape. It's vision is similar to Standing Still Is An Illusion, with Peter's unique take on this AfroBrazilian deep house threetracker. The aside holds "Agape (Love Wins)", a deep and emotive house cut, with driving drums and lush strings that tease until they climax. Kicking off the bside is "Maracatu Detroit", an upbeat love letter to Peter's home city produced through a bouncy Brazilianfunk lens; a track that is sure to bring a smile to the dancers. "Bufe Bufe" closes the release, featuring Peter on live electric bass/guitar and afro stomp drum execution, brought to a peak with Yoruban talking drum + vox. Mr. PC roots the growing effervescent world beat sound with an explicitly Detroit and

    Chicago voice
“Diggin the syncopated grooves of Bufe Bufe. Mixing the samples with original guitar and bass makes for a fresh and organic vibe” Aroop Roy (Kampana Classics, Sol Power) “This is super funky! Top notch.” LadyMonix (Dirt Tech Reck)“

Agape (Love Wins) is reminiscent of a patio party with just the right amount of heat and a Detroit river breeze. “Agape (Love Wins)”, welcomes you to the party and immediately voids your uncertainty of leaving the comfort of your home for this party; the dance floor is well attended, the vibe is steadily elevated. “Midwest Maracatu” invites full body movement, pastes a smile on your face, and has the power to draw the most reluctant party dwellers to the dance floor (let alone get a semiconfident dancer grooving atop a table). After the Maracatu workout, “Bufe Bufe” keeps your body captivated while calming your heart rate slightly with the potential of inducing a moving meditation. The blast of satisfaction of the

Agape (Love Wins) EP comes as no surprise after Croce’s brilliant single Revival released in early 2017 on Rocksteady Disco.” Gin Ebony (STEP 01)

Physician by day, musician by night, Moonlighter makes his production debut after steadily holding down Rocksteady Disco labelmate duties. “Give Us Rain (Ah Mila)” begins the 12” beautifully, blending ethereal African samples with Moonlighter’s own melodic and percussive performance. “Kinematic” kicks off the flip on a more cosmic and techy tip, with bubbly synth stabs and drums. “A Certain Average Kind Of Normal Experience” closes out this opus with a massive peak hour bassline, emotive synthesis, and a vocal sample from everybody’s favorite UK philosopher. The Moonlighter EP is a culmination of his diverse production and digging ethos by blending the percussive with the melodic, the peak hour with the subdued, and the head with the heart.

    4. B2. Private Crimes (DALO Remix)

In 2017, Benedikt Frey released his breathtaking debut album with the ESP Institute, Artificial, and now as we finally come up for air, we’re more than proud to offer an eclectic collection of remixes that’s nothing short of essential. Side A leads with H For Hysteria remixed by a beloved hero, Nicolas Chaix a.k.a. I:Cube, one of the most prolific and respected electronic artists Paris has to offer. His touch is considered and elegant, imbuing the track with a tasteful 303+808 backbone to support an array of patiently floating melodies and angelic vocal samples. Following this, Tolouse Low Trax of Düsseldorf’s infamous Salon Des Amateurs remixes the same track, stripping instrumentation down to a skeletal palette of bass guitar and stabbing percussive punctuations, chopped up inna minimalist stylee that has become his beat-making signature. Side B leads with a remix by another Düsseldorfer, DJ Normal 4, whose re-imagination of Private Crimes takes us for an even more menacing ride, half-timing the tempo and skillfully rolling out a barrage of jungle snares from rave days of yore. Closing the release is the most aggressive remix of them all, a bonafide techno beatdown of the same track by DALO, the co-producing artist to whose haunting vocals lace the original version. Her dark vision opens with sparse industrial drums that blossom into a driving assault of raw machinery, definitely not for the faint-of-heart. An all-around solid release here, fun for all the family... more than just the tip!

It's been over ten years since producers Jarno Lappalainen and Sampo Härkönen released their music under the moniker Present Sense. On this new ep they continue from where they were back then, exploring new expressions through the world of spiritual jazz.

They made these first two compositions and arrangements for the international octet featuring some of the greatest musicians in their fields. Everything was recorded in two days with only a few takes and a minor pre-production.

The result is an exiting entity of distinctive harmonies, from minimal to broken rhythms and top notch solos, everything tied up beautifully together by Dean Bowman's masterful vocals, spoken word and poetry.

Mint Condition - A reissue label focused on excavating the outer fringes of classic House and Techno. Unreleased mixes, classics and overlooked gems mined from the last 20+ of contemporary dance music are the order of the day. From Chicago, Detroit and New York to London and beyond, Mint Condition have got their expert digging hats on to bring you exclusive heat and those rarer than rare jams that have been on your wants list for years! Dig in....

1988 - The second 'summer of love' - The UK is in the grip of acid house fever, warehouses, sports halls, basements and nightclubs are reverberating to the new dance sounds emanating from Chicago and Detroit. Unbeknownst to most at the time this halcyon year will go down in the history books as a defining time that will shape the future of dance music. All major cities in the UK had their own scene, their own sound and their own legends. Manchester is one such city, a much storied participant with a legendary musical pedigree. Enter Annette, built around vocalist Annette Dos Reis this was a veritable all-star group featuring Quando Quango's Mike Pickering, A guy called Gerald, A certain ratio's Simon Topping and respected studio face Ritchie Close all on production. 'Dream 17' was the group's first outing on the newly minted DeConstruction label in 1988 and boasted a truly original and fresh spin on the US sounds that were dominating dance-floors at the time, so much so that most people didn't believe the record was created in the UK! Obviously it made perfect sense to draft in Detroit's Derrick May to craft a stellar remix that pushed the record even further into the stratosphere. May's remix wasn't included on the original 12" and was hugely sought after by DJ's and jocks alike. This is the first time all of the mixes of 'Dream 17' have been collected in one place, the complete package of this all time classic, a true old school transatlantic anthem available again for todays dance.

'Dream 17' has been legitimately released with the full involvement of the rights holders and remastered by Bristol's Optimal Mastering from the original DAT tapes especially for this release. 100% legit, licensed and released. Dug, remastered, repackaged and brought to you by the caring folks at Mint Condition!

Madhouse Records presents ‘Kerri Chandler (Remixed)’ this February, a package including remixes by Detroit Swindle, Josh Butler, Peggy Gou and Jimpster.
Since Kerri Chandler founded Madhouse Records twenty-five years ago, it has been a reputable outlet for high quality house music, ‘Kerri Chandler (Remixed)’ sees the house music icon’s work remixed by some of the scenes most exciting DJ’s and producers. Heist Recordings helming duo Detroit Swindle continue to establish themselves with regular bookings across the world whilst Josh Butler has become a revered name in house music with releases on Defected, Kaoz Theory, and his own imprint Origins Records, Peggy Gou has become a highly in-demand artist with her productions being picked up by Radio Slave’s seminal imprint Rekids and Jimpster’s twenty-year career has seen the release of three LP’s and a plethora of singles on his very own Freerange Records.
Detroit Swindle’s take on ‘Get out’ utilises Kerri Chandler’s own infectious vocal samples from the original, the inaugural release on Madhouse back in 1992, ethereal pads and intriguing synthesiser motifs underpinned by an gritty bass hook. Josh Butler contributes gripping vocal licks and hypnotic chord progressions on top of shuffling percussion and a grooving low-end with his remix of ‘I Got That Feelin’.
Peggy Gou’s remix of ‘I Need You’ offers up an array of intertwining melodies with acidic overtones which float above sharp cymbal work and crisp snares before Jimpster’s take on ‘Powder’ provides warped samples from the original, evolving synthesiser motifs and crunching house drums to close the release.
Madhouse Records Presents ‘Kerri Chandler Remixed’ drops on Madhouse Records on 9th February 2018 (Vinyl Only).
