    1. A. Groove It To Your Body (Vocal)
    2. B. Groove It To Your Body (Instrumental)

What can be said about this monstrous Disco Funk extravaganza from 1982? Well, plenty actually... the only entry in the mighty Prelude back catalogue from Michael Wilson, 'Groove It To Your Body' is what this music is all about, a proper dance record, drenched in the funk, a groove that just doesn't stop. The A-side is incredible, but it's really the b-side dub mix that steals the show. Francois Kevorkian, who was Prelude's A&R man at the time, mans the desk on both mixes, but for a truly stellar work-out the dub flips all of the essential ingredients into a stew of rumbling synth and tape feedback and deep space delay and echo. This mix could be seen as the template of what was to come, and is an all-out dancefloor wrecker. Try it! It doesn't get any better than this. A Disco essential. 2nd hand copies of this nugget go for serious wedge these days, now's your chance to snag an *official* licensed reissue from Prelude direct. All totally Above Board! Do it!

    5. B2. Konomi
    6. B3. Kachikachi

Yokohama-based producer Foodman - aka 食品まつり or Shokuhin Matsuri - continues his expansive sonic voyage with his new EP Dokutsu, out on 6th March 2020. It follows his 2019 release ODOODO, which was issued on Diplo’s Mad Decent label. Dokutsu is the first release on Highball, a brand new label exporting forward-thinking music from Japan.

Foodman emerged from Japan’s nascent footwork scene, using the genre as a springboard for an escapist exploration into a dazzling array of sounds. He’s since earned the respect of influential fans including Diplo, Benny Blanco, Cashmere Cat and HOMESHAKE, while Pitchfork, Noisey, FACT and Tiny Mix Tapes have included his releases in various ‘best of the year’ lists since 2016.

Opening track Kazunoko sets the tone for what will follow. Its woozy rhythm is evocative of the off-kilter playfulness that’s become a hallmark of Foodman’s uncategorizable artistry. It’s also a sign of his inventiveness that he constantly adds fresh layers to the track without losing sight of its light-hearted, spacious feel.

Another of Foodman’s unorthodox traits is his ability to meld the frenetic with the soothing. Hirake Tobira is a case in point. Its production is hypnotic, while its central motif - endless twists and variations on a vocal sample - is sufficiently insistent to demand attention. Kachikachi reverses the trick with a thrilling rush, stuttering otherwise unobtrusive sounds.

Elsewhere the EP plays on sonics which have echoes of the familiar while remaining alien: the boss fight soundtrack of Oshiro, the clattering percussion that dominates Imo Hori, and the ambient psychedelia of Konomi.

Based in Yokohama, an hour south of Tokyo, Foodman’s multifaceted skills also encompass DJing and painting. His press image, shown above, is a self-portrait. From the stripped-back sketches of his 2012 set Shokuhin (released on Giant Claw’s Orange Milk label) to the richer textures of ODOODO, Foodman has subverted everything from Okinawan folk to J-Pop to D&B/classical fusion into his own otherworldly inventions.

    1. A. Maurice Fulton & Peggy Gou - Jigoo
    2. B1. Maurice Fulton - Not Sure How I Would
    3. B2. Maurice Fulton - One Itself

Following its 2019 launch with Peggy Gou's ‘Moment’ EP and a follow up 12" from DMX Krew, Gudu Records continues its journey with one of the true heroes of the underground, Maurice Fulton. Consisting of three diverse tracks, the ‘Earth’ EP captures a shared love of esoteric experiments in house, disco and funk, delivering a different flavour with each cut.

The EP opens with a collaboration between Fulton and label founder Peggy Gou: ‘Jigoo’ is the sound of both artists in full swing, combining a rolling, infectious bassline with the sort of joyous chords that have won Gou's previous productions quite so much play. Vintage Chicago house drum work drives the track forward, while a series of psychedelic breakdowns combine to create another understated club anthem in waiting.

On the B side, ‘Not Sure How I Would’ may offer the perfect introduction for those yet to have fully immersed themselves in Fulton's wonderful back catalogue. A chugging bassline, live drums and guitar plus a barrage of effects invite listeners into a hugely accomplished, utterly unpredictable dancefloor space, one primed to invite full-scale freakouts for heads-down crowds.

Finally, ‘One Itself’ provides the most understated moment on Gudu thus far. Slowly and surely bubbling, yet more raw percussion intertwines wildly with fizzy, analogue manipulations, Fulton engineers a veritable pressure-cooker of slo-mo rave euphoria that could once again leave a dancefloor spinning on its collective head.

Imagine a Kerri Chandler track anthropomorphized, then jammed into a Japanese purikura photo booth for a series of bedazzled, glittered, and airbrushed headshots. Imagine that image set to music. What do you hear? Westcoast Goddess' The Inner Snoopy, a frenetic house workout that is puzzlingly contemporary, classic, and alien.

The four-track EP kicks off with the title track, a cloud of cotton candy, supersaturated hot pink, threaded with twinkly bells and a bass shuffle that flips and flops around with cheerful abandon.

“Limelight Golden Age” and “Murder at Passion Cove,” the two tunes that follow, assume a quietly sinister tone, introducing minor-key piano pounds and pinched synth riffs that stretch to the heavens to complicate the overwhelming joyousness of the instrumental palette and arrangement. A subtly ironic 12-inch
that satirizes and lampoons the bubblegum, technicolor sounds from our hyperactive age while hearteningly finding beauty within it all.

Bah—words, words, word! It's wildly fun party music imbued with idiosyncratic humor and life-affirming happiness. Play it loud, play if often.

    1. A. Mosquito
    2. B1. The Deep End
    3. B2. Hide & Seek

London based DJ and producer Dan Shake is set to announce details of his new EP ‘Mosquito’, due for release on 13th March 2020 via his Shake Records imprint.

Dan’s latest outing offers three driving, thoughtful Detroit house influenced club tracks: from the synth-heavy adrenaline rush of title track Mosquito, to the jacking, motoric resolve of The Deep
End, and Hide Seek’s kinetic, sample-driven house groove.

Since debuting on Moodymann’s Mahogani Music in 2014 with 3AM Jazz Club / Thinkin About U, Dan made it into a springboard for his ambitions to work crowds the world over. His love of groove – ranging from sparky acid to Brazilian samba, itchy funk to heavyweight house – fuels his drive to make those around him dance as keenly as he does. At a party, Dan Shake isn’t just loaded with peak time weapons: he is one.

This will be the seventh release on Dan’s Shake imprint, following a string of dance floor-igniting releases, the most recent of which continues to scorch the airwaves from Radio 1 to NTS, garnering DJ support from the likes of Annie Mac, Gilles Peterson, Honey Dijon and The Black Madonna, and a searing set of disco-house releases last year on his own Shake imprint and Denis Sulta’s Sulta Selects.

Dan’s infectious charm and expert ear has resulted in a truly international list of shows in locations as far flung from home as Beirut to Buenos Aires, plus armfuls of Balearic visits, including closing the main stage at Dimensions Festival and playing b2b shows with Jeremy Underground, Marcellus Pittman & DJ Boring to name a few. With a never-ending tour schedule ahead, including his debut U.S. and Australia tour, stops at Nuits Sonores, Love International, Printworks, Kingdom Festival, Fly, Boardmasters, Dimensions, Pikes Ibiza and more new music planned for 2020, Dan Shake is set to have an exceptional year.

A staple within Mannheim’s blossoming house and techno scene and a key member of the cities’ BE9 collective, with further projects such as Ho Do Ri alongside close friend Ben Balance, Salty Nuts boss Fabe has gone on to become an emerging name of note across Europe and beyond. With an impressive stock of material to date via thelikes of Mulen Records, La Peña, Sukhumvit Records and most recently Cocoon, March reveals a welcome return to London’s Infuse to unveil his ‘RYTM Tales’ EP on the imprint.

Opening via the slick ‘Chocolate Cake’ which harnesses signature slinking grooves alongside infectious vocal hooks, The ‘RYHM Tales’ EP showcases elements and sonics from right across the German talent’s repertoire. ‘Blue Shooz’ offers up an up-front, driving cut guided by rumbling low-ends and skipping hats throughout, whilst ‘Frisbee’ takes up a more paired back approach with off-kilter lead melodies and resonant synth lines guiding the way. The package is rounded out by ‘Locked’, a heady final production loaded with swing and armed with a sweet balance of subtle keys, crisp percussion licks and yet another groove-fuelled bassline designed for the floor.

Seb Zito is no stranger to delivering club-ready hits. He brings his fire to Hot Creations this March, marking his inaugural release on the label.

Nut In Your Mouth instantly commands attention with an infectious vocal hook that ripples around the pounding bassline. Flow is a frenetic offering with a chaotic flow and elements of acid that tightly coil together before unfurling into a rich, unadulterated bass conjuring up a sort of rhythmic voodoo. The EP rounds off with Put Your Phones Down feat. Woodzy. The track utilises a burgeoning synth that grows steadily as a hypnotic vocal line bleeds an air of mysticism into it before Woodzy calls us to put our phones down and get up.

Seb Zito has firmly established himself as a key player on the house and techno scene. One of the core residents of London party starters Fuse, Zito has an unwavering ability to connect with the crowd and regularly plays at some of the world’s most renowned clubs. He runs his own highly-praised imprints Seven Dials and F&Z as well as releasing a slew of well-received EPs on Fuse, Infuse, Play It Say It, Edible, Four Thirty Two, ORIGINS, Rawax & Kaos Theory. 2020 is set to be a seminal year for Seb with plans to grow Seven Dials as a brand and the release of his debut album.

Title track Uhuru opens the EP with a tantalising groove, tribal vocal hook and mesmerizing percussion, inducing a trance-like state. The permeating bass of Notche enters next as it throbs throughout the track, building into a hedonistic spacetrip. Los Libros is a rawer offering with a stripped back percussive section and beguiling female vocal hook. Loco closes the EP with its deep, hypnotic rhythm and an air of darkness that is blended with scintillating synths in the breakdown before diving headfirst back into the intense beat.

Dennis Cruz’s musical journey has seen him win high-praise for his output with a number of awards and nominations including Best Producer in 2017’s DJ Awards. Louie Vega continues to expand the musical boundaries of house music with his unique ability to combine the essence of classic disco, soul and funk with the percussive energy that is the driving force of dancefloors worldwide. His new work is a second preview into the epic and forthcoming Expansions In The NYC album. This album will include selections that represent the many musical movements on which the House Music genre has evolved right up to the current time. Louie has a few special guests in mind to join him on the album as well, all of which will create unique collaborations that will launch the project into an area of worldwide interest. As one of the world’s longest independent dance labels, Nervous is well suited to present this momentous project.

It’s often said that great talent is in the DNA, and that’s most certainly the case with the Vega family. The A side of this 12” is “How He Works,” a blast of gospel – laced dancefloor energy that includes a stellar featured co-production with Nico Vega. The track has been buzzing buzzing massively ever since Louie debuted it at one of his sold out Expansions In The NYC events in New York. The 12” features two dubs, and fans will have to wait for the album to get the full club version.

The AA side include the peak hour gem “Can’t Slow Down” and the inspired “Vince Montana Tribute.” “Can’t Slow Down” shows Louie’s creative abilities at their best as he re-shapes a vocal from a Nervous Records classic house jam “Rushing” by Loni Clark, and with full approval and appreciation from the original producers Mood II Swing, re-creates something that will absolutely blow up dancefloors today. The “Vince Montana Tribute” (Louie Vega and Rick Wilhite from Detroit Rework) is a heartfelt and equally impactful production in which Louie demonstrates his appreciation for the disco sounds that he grew up on in the iconoc borough of Bronx, NYC.

    1. A1. Sunflower

    4. B2. Leaving Tokyo

Starting 2020 on a high note, and following a surprise charity EP along with a collaborative EP with Turnstile, Jordon Alexander returns as Mall Grab for the “Sunflower” EP.

Sunflower serves as a representation of what’s to come for 2020, and how 2019 and every aspect of it influenced my world and the world around me. Recorded in Tokyo and New York, two of my favourite and most inspirational places (to me), Sunflower comprises 4 tracks which are a stand alone project, but an introduction to the debut Mall Grab album slated for a late 2020 release.

The title track, Sunflower, was composed in New York, looking out at the skyline on an incredibly sunny day and feeling a sense of positivity and energy wash over me. Daydreams of love, fun, ecstasy, love and the people who are special to you. Above all, the desire to share how I felt and feel coming into 2020. Something undefinable - I hope Sunflower can share that with you.

The second track, Hidden Worlds, is an amalgamation for a euphoric dark room - sweaty, throbbing and uncompromising. Recorded in New York several hours before a show at Knockdown Center as a draft, and finished in London a week or so later.

Switchblade is a return to the spoken word layering of early MG tunes, set to an electro-esque, broken beat club beat. High energy, not to be taken too seriously, but locked and loaded.

Leaving Tokyo, the closing track was recorded the day before leaving japan, late 2018.
It, for me, represents the melancholy of leaving somewhere special, full of fantastic memories and people but optimism for the next stop and next adventure.

In a world where everything seems a bit chaotic and bleak, I hope I can share the love a little with you... Positive energy forever.

Since teaming up two years ago, Matt Edwards (Radio Slave) and Patrick Mason have continued to blur the lines between pounding techno and live avant-garde performance under their SRVD alias. Following performances in Barcelona, Melbourne, Berlin London and Tokyo, and with support from the likes of Sven Väth, Rodhad, Chris Liebing, Laurent Garnier and many more. The formidable duo now return to their home imprint, Rekids, with two tracks both recorded in Bordeaux in 2019, using only analogue gear, before being arranged and mixed in Berlin.

‘Black On Black’ opens with thundering percussion, rising synths, rattling cymbals and alluring vocals from Patrick which elevates the energy and leads you into delightful darkness. On the flip, ‘USB’ pulses with a Roland SH 101 bassline and deep kicks while Patrick’s haunting vocal-work causes an unsettling rhythm that propels you into a warehouse space.

Continuing a run of highly eclectic and quirky but consistently individual releases (most recently GAMING's internationally lauded Scenes From A Deserted City 2x12" LP, out Nov), the Hobbes Music label is very excited to welcome Jacksonville aka Yorkshire-born, Edinburgh-based artist Chris Lyth, to the fold. He has carpet-bombed the last few Hobbes Music events at Edinburgh's Bongo Club with his excellent live sets and the release has been in the pipeline for some time.

The 'FON' EP (caps intentional) combines a love of classic electro and techno with dub reggae, sound system culture, the UK's contemporary bass scene etc. Mastering was done by Optimum in Bristol, who did a really lovely job, with loads of width in the mix.

This release follows Jacksonville's 'Machines Of Loving Grace' EP which dropped in November via Inner Shift. He has a pedigree spanning some 20 years plus via releases for the likes of 2020Vision, Hizou, Doppler, Thug, Plastic City, Leftroom, A.E.R, Shanti and Dan Curtin’s Metamorphic. This record's a bit of a departure for him.

While we're deeply saddened by the knowledge that there's no chance now of us ever hearing Andy Weatherall play it out, we're kinda heartened by the idea that he would have probably dug it.... RIP.

    • John Talabot and Axel Boman collaborate on an eight track release as Talaboman
    • Gatefold 12” double vinyl and digital
    • For fans of John Talabot, Axel Boman, DJ Koze, Leon Vynehall

It’s been over two years since Talaboman’s ‘Sideral’ EP, a joint release out on Hivern Discs and Studio Barnhus. It was John Talabot and Axel Boman’s collaborative debut and marked a new sound for the pair, consisting of rich synth motifs and vivid, afro-infused drum programming.

The two electronic artists have been independently successful in their respective careers, responsible  for some of the most well-received dance releases in recent years (including Talabot’s ‘fin’ LP and Boman’s ‘Family Vacation’ LP) . Featuring on labels such as Permanent Vacation, Young Turks and !K7, Barcelona-based Talabot has become known for his unique take on chugging house and electronica. Similarly, Boman’s refined his own dusky aesthetic via Pampa, Hypercolour and his own Studio Barnhus imprint.

Now, the pair come back together with an album’s worth of material in a release titled ‘The Night Land’. Due for release on [date], via R&S records, ‘The Night Land’ continues Talaboman’s head-first dive into the deeper reaches of their conjoined musical creativity.

Nothing’s really changed since their first release, apart from the fact that this time round they produced (in their own words) an “absurd amount of music”. Writing sessions spread out across studios in Barcelona, Stockholm, and Gothenburg have given space to nascent ideas, where the two have been able to mature their sound.

The music is patient and warm, but also broad and diverse. ‘Midnattssol’ opens with atmospheric tropical panoramas, coloured by rhythmic stick hits and bell chimes. ‘Safe Changes’ and ‘Brutal Chugga-Chugga’ are hazy slow burners that crawl at a nonchalant pace, while tracks like ‘Samsa’ and ‘The Ghosts Hood’ are contrastingly more immediate and assertive.

‘The Night Land’, as the title suggests, “is a journey inwards, an attempt to reach our subconscious and to document our dreams. We want to ignite hope and push imagination. Close your eyes and open your mind.” Even when many tracks involve the heavy use of synthesisers and distortion, Talaboman have been sure to keep things sounding organic and light.

There is no complicated message or hidden concept behind this release, it’s simply “two persons meeting and playing music, a catalan and a swede talking blip blop until we felt that we had something worth saying” - and perhaps unsurprisingly this impromptu style of working has resulted in an album that is rich and vivid, but also feels somehow pure and sincere.

The message is clear: “Love is all this world needs. Loosen up those tight fists and give your sisters and brothers a helping hand and dance your anger away.”

With one of the most-hyped remixes of the year, artist of the moment Peggy Gou delivers with a squelching 7 minute groover, bringing in that iconic synth motif to lift the production and keep it rolling. Stepping up to tackle this masterpiece with a nu-disco dance track, Tiger & Woods use cowbell to accent a B-boy beat, with drum machine breaks bringing it back to the dancefloor. With a sophisticated house remix with a nu-disco edge is Purple Disco Machine, fusing a funk-infused bassline with Terra Deva’s unforgettable vocals. Finally is a brand new version from the Shakedown duo themselves, the Galactic Boogie Mix. With saturated synths and interplanetary breakdowns, Shakedown bring a carefree 80s quality to this iconic track’s irresistible after-dark charm.

His tracks share the same production values as the timeless records from classic disco imprints in the late 70s; melodies are super-tightly harmonised, instrumentation is lively and the rhythms are designed purely for dance. ‘The Power and The Blessing of Unity’ is almost a mini album, exploring all the facets of Folamour’s sophisticated house and disco tendencies. The title track sparkles with brass stabs and a textbook swinging disco beat, ‘Island Of Recent Father’ breaks things down into synthy house goodness, ‘Let’s Grab Some Smokes’ channels a more contemporary low-fi sound and bringing it home with ‘Home Beyond The Clouds’, Folamour closes with uplifting house hooks and percussion. It’s a real trip.

    1. A Starry Night
    2. B Han Pan

Peggy Gou is proud to announce the launch of her own independent record label, Gudu Records. The label’s first release will be the Moment EP - a two-track 12” featuring the tracks ‘Starry Night’ and ‘Han Pan’.

'Moment’ sees Gou continue to explore the charismatic facets of her musical and personal identity, drawing on her Korean heritage and language and her love for house & disco’s Eighties heritage, with particular nods to the output of labels such as Prelude and West End Records in the decade’s nascent years.

Gou’s own singing voice, known to so many from last year’s ‘Once’ EP, returns here to confidently guide the rhythm on ‘Starry Night’. Mixing both Korean and English vocals over a tumbling cascade of percussion and piano house keys, the track builds to incorporate layers of instrumental samples and subtle acid lines. Romantic, anthemic and timeless in its feel, it reaffirms Gou’s skill as a songwriter with appeal that resonates beyond crowded dancefloors, not to mention language barriers.

'Han Pan' follows as an instantly rhythmic affair that draws energy from a memorable and delicately tuned pan-drum. Alongside some expert and understated arrangement, as well as another, contrasting vocal performance, ‘Han Pan’ transmits a different but equally powerful energy.

When Network Records originally issued “Innovator” in 1991 we knew that the music contained within was timeless. At that time, of course, we had no grasp of how well Derrick’s epic soundscapes would time travel. We christened the collection - “Soundtrack For The Tenth Planet” - because it seemed like the music (and Derrick) had indeed arrived from another world.

The release has been acclaimed as iconic because Derrick, the madcap and maverick philosopher of Detroit Techno, introduced the concept of dance music with a musical and emotional agenda way beyond anything that had come before. Beats with beauty. Literally the strings of life. Where fellow musical geniuses Chic had previously urged everybody to simply "Dance, Dance, Dance" mood alchemist Mayday merged simple yet cerebral dreamscapes with strange and urgent complex dance rhythms and invited us all to Dance And Dream. And in a strange juxtaposed way helped birth the hedonistic Acid House scene with classics “Nude Photo” and “Strings Of Life”

The energy is frenetic, but merged with a new age ambience. The gems collected on this offering were iconic in 1991, now they cause mass hysteria when Derrick turns his one time musical experiments, created in a tiny room in Detroit, and turns them into epic concerts with orchestras and musicians across the globe. “Hand In Hand” existed in 1991 and we wanted to release it then, but it’s taken until now for the complete 13 minute recording to finally meet the world.
It will be revered, because like all of Derrick May’s music it is life affirming. Emotions Electric indeed.

The original “Innovator” release was housed on one single slab of wax. This time around we have expanded it to two discs to make space for “Hand Over Hand” and also so everything elsewhere - masterpieces remastered - can be presented in a complete and superior fashion. Whatever the tweaks, changes and updates etc all these years on, this music still sounds gloriously alien and groundbreaking. But there’s still no Tenth Planet.

"Innovator" remastered by Curvepusher, London 2019. Re-presented by Network Records in conjunction with Derrick May.
Worldwide distribution by Above Board Distribution.

    1. A. Plastic Dreams (Nicole Moudaber Renaissance Remix)
    2. B. Plastic Dreams (Nicole Moudaber Passion Runs Deep Remix)

Renowned record label and events brand Renaissance announce the next release in their acclaimed The ReMix Collection - a scintillating reworking of Jaydee’s 1992 R&S classic ‘Plastic Dreams’ from one of the leading names in techno: Producer, DJ & MOOD Records label boss Nicole Moudaber.

Nicole Moudaber’s spectacular and atmospheric remix of ‘Plastic Dreams’ is already receiving strong DJ support, not least from Carl Cox, who has been playing it out as a highlight of his recent sets.

A track that Nicole Moudaber had always wanted to remix, when approaching such an iconic track as ‘Plastic Dreams’, she applied her trademark tough yet melodic sound, emphasising the jazzy bass notes and famous organ synthesiser refrain, to deliver a fresh and vibrant reworking.

On her remix, Nicole Moudaber said: “I didn’t want to lose the essence of this ground-breaking track. I kept the balance between house and techno and added a little touch of jazz. I was in New York when I first heard it; I was dancing, I was flying, I was connecting with people, I was making memories. I believe I gave it justice, I certainly gave it a lot of space and respect of its original identity.”

‘Plastic Dreams’ will be available as a Limited-Edition vinyl, produced to go toward part of a highly collectable and beautifully packaged 6 release box-set (6th release dropping at Christmas).

The ReMix Collection celebrates Renaissance’s proud heritage which has seen the brand at the forefront of electronic music since its inception in 1992. The concept behind the collection is to put a fresh and exciting take on seminal tracks that are closely connected with Renaissance’s early years.

Crackazat needs little by way of introduction having released some of the biggest soul-drenched, deep and jazzy cuts on the likes of Local Talk, Futureboogie and Z Records. Bristolian (now relocated to Sweden) Ben Jacobs wears his jazz influences proudly on his sleeve. His one-man live show sees him killing bass guitar and keyboards moves over the top of MAW-esque beats creating that holy grail of emotive, heartfelt music which never loses sight of the dancefloor. Ben already has two LP’s under his belt, as well as a host of remixes for Mousse T and Peven Everett, Joey Negro and Tom Misch and we’re proud to announce him for his Freerange debut.

Opening track Valentine acts as a calling card for what Crackazat does best.... Fat, stripped back, raw, swinging house beats straight out of the Mood II Swing handbook. Live bass and jazzy piano bring an unashamedly musical edge that can’t help but bring the heat to the Dancefloor. Tried and tested by Jimpster, this one is a serious head turner and shows why many are citing Ben as a talent who is knocking hard on the door of Kenny and Louie.

Next up we have Back Of My Heart, a more tracky affair with shuffling beats, deep, rising pads and side-chained arpeggios pumping with a fat kick drum. One to get well and truly lost in at 4am.

Flipping over we have I Heard You which uses a similar sonic palette to Valentine: crisp beats with driving offbeat hats, lush piano chords and soaring Moog line all making for a serious ear-worm of a tune which you can’t help but bounce to.

Finally, Detroit luminary Patrice Scott gets busy on the remix of Back Of My Heart. The Sistrum label boss brings his Midas touch, delivering a deeper, late-night mood which subtly evolves, introducing new piano parts and bassline whilst keeping the rolling, unrelenting groove on track.

Fusing the industrial clicking and whirring of the UK's post-industrial landscape with the lush, melodic, balearic inspired piano lines of the white isle and sucking us all in in the process. A true masterpiece courtesy of Mancunians Mike Pickering, Simon Topping and the late Ritchie Close who's combined projects included Quando Quango, M-People, Annette, A Certain Ratio and more. It's truly hard to believe this record is 30 years old. It can easily stand shoulder to shoulder with anything being released today. The B-side 'Regret' is also an amazing, minimal slice of punk-funky 808 driven niceness. Super stripped back and with an innocent charm and poppy vibe it is the perfect foil to the latino house chaos of 'Cariño' on the other side. One could argue that the A-side will take you up, and the B-side will bring you down (In the best possible way!). 3. B1 Stay Free - Dimitri From Paris Dubstramental
    4. B2 Stay Free - Dimitri From Paris The Symphonic Mix

French Disco auteur Dimitri From Paris' Le Edits imprint is back to bring you only the finest, most beautifully executed and lovingly reworked classics from the four corners of the discotheque dance-floor. Following on from the previous 3 highly sought after and collectible releases on the label, Dimitri has once again set the bar sky-high and pulled off yet another set of incredible versions, this time the legendary Ashford & Simpson are blessed with a little 'French chic' and their perennial feel good and uplifting classic 'Stay Free' gets the DFP treatment. Using only the finest materials available, sourced from multiple countries across the globe, as well as having access to the original master tapes, top shelf engineering and mastering.

'Stay Free' was the lead single from Ashford & Simpson's 1979 LP of the same name, a truly all-star album that included a who's who of Disco and Soul session luminaries within it's production credits including Jimmy Simpson, John Davis, Eric Gale, Ralph MacDonald and many more. This was the era of big major label Disco productions when there was huge budgets for the best studios, musicians and engineers. All of these factors teamed with the phenomenal song-writing and vocal performances of Nickolas Ashford and Valerie Simpson meant that 'Stay Free' would go gold on it's release and give the duo some of their most enduring songs including said title track and the anthemic gospel Disco classic 'Found a cure'. To have access and the permission to remix such classic records is a real honour, one that Dimitri does not take lightly, suffice to say then that the mixes you hold here in your hands are the very best, they've been put through the quality control channels, road-tested and listened to over and over before reaching you. A lifetime spent passionately in love with Disco and club culture has given Dimitri the correct perspective to present these future classic remixes to you and this is evident upon listening. Across 4 different versions we are treated to all of the wondrous elements that make up the Ashford & Simpson sound, the lush orchestration, the heavenly arrangements, mid-tempo, sultry grooves and of course, the absolutely top shelf vocal performances of what is surely, one of the greatest duos in the history of Disco and Soul music, steeped in wisdom, love and deepness it's no surprise that every single track here delivers - and then some.

Simply put, only the finest Disco reworks are released on Le Edits. Special versions of classics and rarer than rare tracks, all lovingly re-touched and mixed from the reels and master tapes each time, fully sanctioned and created in conjunction with the artists, rights holders and Above Board Distribution. 100% official and essential. This is no 'under the counter' operation, Le Edit is here to bring back some quality and class to the re-edit game by doing things, once and for all, properly and respectfully. No re-press guaranteed. Utilising the highest end tip-on heavy duty sleeves, and outer protective sleeves, pressed onto 100% virgin vinyl. These new mixes have been legitimately commissioned and will not be available digitally. This product cost 4 times as much to produce than your average Disco edit 12’’ because Le Edits believe in quality first and foremost. You really haven't heard these tracks like this before! A truly collectible and desirable item indeed.

Grammy award winner Louie Vega is known worldwide as one of the finest creators and purveyors of house music, both as an individual artist / producer / dj and as partner with Kenny Dope in the renowned production team known as Masters At Work. His multiple musical talents have also brought him much acclaim in the genres of salsa, afro-beat, jazz, hip-hop and soul. Last year he reached another career milestone when his album “Louie Vega Starring...XXVIII” was nominated at the 2017 Grammys for Best Dance Album, which further solidified his position as one of the industry’s premier artist / producers. But not everyone knows about Louie’s deep respect, admiration and knowledge of the disco genre that laid the foundation for so much music that moves crowd on dancefloors and festivals today.

Louie’s connection with Nervous Records and it’s father / son founders Sam and Michael Weiss goes back to the label’s very early years, as Masters At Work gave the label some of its earliest hits along with its signature release “The Nervous Track” by Nuyorican Soul. Louie was always aware of the many disco hits that had been released by Sam on his Sam Records label back in the 70’s and 80’s. But it was not until recently that Louie suggested Michael send him the 24 inch multi -track masters of seminal Sam Records disco classics like Gary’s Gang “Keep On Dancing,” John Davis & The Monster Orchestra “I Can’t Stop,” Convertion “Let’s Do It,” Vicky D “This Beat Is Mine,” as well as several others.

The multi-tracks are a treasure-trove, including musical contributions from some of disco era’s finest musicians and engineers. Going through the various percussion, horn and string tracks inspired Louie to create a series of remixes that became dancefloor anthems that topped the Traxsource and Beatport charts and reverberated on dancefloors worldwide. That response, and the common drive that Louie and Michael both share to constantly promote quality music that is both song and rhythm based, inspired them to take this endeavor a step further, and to create brand new songs. When Louie’s creative energies start flowing, his team knows to rise to the occasion. The result is NYC Disco, an album that represents the full range of disco – related genres including the following:

    1. A - I'm Always Dancin' To The Music (Special Disco Version)
    2. B - I'm Always Dancin' To The Music (Special Disco Version) MONO

Philadelphian Jazz legend Benny Golson has had a long and storied career, he's played with luminaries such as John Coltrane, Dizzy Gillespie and Art Blakey just to mention a small handful. Obviously his credentials are rock solid and his skills as a tenor sax legend are undisputed.

'I'm always dancin' to the music' from 1978 is taken from Benny's LP of the same name. Released on the mighty Columbia imprint as a mono & stereo promo-only white label it's status among underground soul, funk & jazz aficionados is heavyweight, a true 'rare groove' indeed. Produced by George Butler (whose credentials are no less than impressive!) this one has been a hugely popular dance record that has never been easy to track down in 12" form, often topping 'most expensive' record lists it's a record that certainly won't appear in your local second hand spot anytime soon.

Due to it's scarcity and the fact that 'I'm always dancin' to the music' is such a stellar, uplifting piece of jazz-funk-disco goodness it's no surprise that the bootleggers have tried their hand at replicating this masterful release, often resulting in some fairly shoddy facsimiles. Fear not, this beautiful, legit repress comes to you via the combined forces of Above Board distribution and Sony Music, utilising their superior and original master sources and lovingly remastered and repressed just as the 1978 promo 12" was released. No messing around here.

Essential, rare and beautiful - Another amazing nugget from the vaults!

This particular 45 "One Of These Fools Have Got To Go / Concrete Jungle" features all the hallmarks of Hale's wondrous, soulful style. Laid back sweet Funk is the order of the day here, beautiful rare-groove leaning cuts that have somehow soaked up a good dose of that Hialeah sunshine. A tough record to track down, this 45 has long been the preserve of the rare record underground. Copies can change hands for collectors prices regularly often making the record hard to obtain. This fully legit re-issue makes the beautiful sounds of Little Beaver available again for all to enjoy. Re-released with all original label artwork intact, on dinked 45 as per the original 1977 release and with the full cooperation of TK Disco / CAT Records, Miami, Florida.

Recondite marks his return to Hotflush with the epic, potentially summer-defining 'Caldera' and a sequel to his 2012 hit 'DRGN'. The Bavarian artist has undergone a dazzling rise since that time, and one which is reflected in the increasing opulence of his music.

'Caldera', with its dramatic arpeggios and crescendos, is unabashed big-field decadence. Bearing all the hallmarks on which he's made his name - space, subtlety, build, attention to timbre - over the course of 9 minutes it raises the temperature to white heat. 'DRGN 2' picks up exactly where its 2012 namesake left off; that is, with an arching melody played out over droning tones of insidious intent. Dark, imposing and elegant - this is Recondite at his most wicked.

How's living in a dystopian now working out for you?
Here's hoping a new birdscare release can help take the edge off...
It's by Zu Dobson. And who's Zu Dobson?
I honestly wish I could tell you.
She approached me at an A.L.F.O.S. gathering of the faithful and gave me a CD of her work with nothing on it but a PO address written on it. After corresponding by letter for a while we agreed that "Apple Knife" and "Wisdom Of Rumi" would be the first release (of hopefullly many). I only met Ms. Dobson fleetingly and she has no on-line presence so her identity is vague even to me. So next time you're on the dancefloor that young woman dancing next to you could well be ZU DOBSON.

They’re young and tough – and especially wonderful too – easily one of the most compelling harmony soul groups to ever hail from the Windy City! The set’s a Chicago soul gem from the early 70s – recorded with a laidback, slightly tripped-out vibe that’s different than the tighter styles of other groups from the same scene – definitely righteous at points, with some of the superbad modes you might hear from an east coast lineup like The Delfonics or Soul Generation, especially when they were trying to get a bit more conscious in their message. Arrangements are great – handled by Tom Tom Washington, Eugene Record, and Cliff Davis – very much at the best Brunswick mode, but again with a deeper sort of vibe too. The title cut’s a monster, and a very fitting follow-up to their earlier “Sly, Slick, & Wicked” track – and the album features 2 versions (vocal and instrumental) of a cut called “This Is The Lost Generation”, a very righteous soul groove with a heavy production tip.

Vitamin E, a a short-lived group that yielded only 2 singles and one long player during their time certainly knew who to work with in the studio. 'Kiss Away' is an absolute belter, raw and raunchy Funk riffing gives way to some ultra smooth, grown-up stepping Soul awash with some stellar string arrangements. This one is definitely for the dancers, it simply glides along with the utmost class and sophistication, an incredibly uplifting and funky cut that features here in it's 1977 special disco version guise as per the original Buddah Records release. On the flip is a cool cover of Neil Sedaka's 1974 hit 'Laughter In The Rain' - a sweet version, no doubt, but the real winner is the stellar A-side. LFT003 is an introduction to the music that Jordon Alexander (Mall Grab) and long-time friend, housemate and sometimes-DJ-partner Alysha Fleiter (Nite Fleit) have worked on over the past year together. The product of swapping stems on tour, trains and at home, the ‘Moogie’ EP combines two individual and two collaborative tracks for the third release on the Looking For Trouble label.

After destroying dance floors worldwide, Nite Fleit’s “Hot Bot” finally sees the light of day at A1. With EBM-leaning atmospheric percussion and a huge pulsating bassline, this is a proven peak time club weapon.

Mall Grab’s “Reconnaissance” (A2) is another club-geared stomper with a throbbing bassline and breakbeat homage that operates deep within old-skool rave territory. Having made its mark as an unidentified dub in all of MG’s sets over the past year, “Reconnaissance” is now ready to be unleashed!

B1, “Anatomy of the Senses”, the collaborative debut from Nite Fleit and Mall Grab, is a promising introduction to future products of this fusion. With NF’s signature evolving and pulsing basslines/synthesis, and MG’s distinct drum programming/synth licks, this trance-acid-tekno 4/4 stomper is an unapologetic body-shaker.

Closing off the record, “Moogie” (B2) is the second official melding of the minds of NF + MG, an electronica-leaning electro number that feels as at home in headphones as it does on a packed dance floor.

Having pinned to perfection the sonics of the Adriatic, Croatia’s Love International Festival bottles up their blissed out rhythms and sunrise sessions for the inauguration of Love International Recordings, fittingly, with a first release from UK producer Begin.

Bringing the Love International feel to wax and digital, the label will encapsulate the range of music the festival’s secluded party paradise has become renowned for. All the way from the balearic tinges of this first release, to the meatier house, techno and electro selections on show at Barbarellas.

Begin aka James Holroyd has a long history with Love International. Dating back to the early 2000s, Holroyd was one of the first guest DJs at the old Garden festival on the former festival site in Petrčane. Long serving Chemical Brothers tour DJ, Back to Basics resident since the 90's and Bugged Out co founder, Begin has long paid his paid his dues to the scene. In the words of Dave Harvey: “he’s been an absolute workhorse in dance music for time”.

Love International 001's tracks seemingly fit the festivals own daily lifecycle. From the docile guitar picking of meditative EP opener ‘Wood Trees’ to the slow daybreak funk of ‘Daypulse’ where synths pierce through the track like sun rays through the Adriatic dusk, the EP is a holistic reflection of what one might hear at one of the festival’s fabled sunrise sessions. ‘Garden Interlude’ ushers in a fresh burst of energy, with the revitalizing sounds of piano house, paired with warming neo soul vocals. ‘Into The Fun’ is a self fulfilling prophecy, closing the EP on a quintessentially balearic note.

"Real name Takeshi Fukushima, Takecha has been a key figure within Japan’s electronic music scene for decades and belongs to the same pioneering crew as Soichi Terada and Shinichiro Yokota. Now in his mid- fifties, ‘Deep Soundscapes’ is an album encompassing Fukushima’s sound with every track written by the producer between 1990 and 2013.

Intricate percussion and crystalline chords set the tone in ‘Deep Drive’ before a funky bassline joins serene synths in ‘Midnight Things’. Appearing in Soichi Terada’s mix for Resident Advisor (under its promo title ‘Deep Loop C’), ‘Gradual Atmosphere’ is comprised of a galloping beat and saccharine chimes, ‘Factory 141’ sees Takecha demonstrate a murkier aesthetic, whilst ‘Rhodes Detox’ is a definitive example of Takecha’s flair for expertly balancing elements within his productions.

An homage to Shufflepuck Café, an old Mac Plus video game Takecha would play on a black and white 9- inch monitor back in the day, ‘Shufflepuck’ blends ghostly melodies with clicks, whirrs and pops. ‘Calm Imagination’ is a poignant affair from start to finish with its hypnotising atmosphere, contrasting to the more up-tempo ‘Warm Rondo’ with its soulful keys and purring low-end. Tying it all together, ‘Genuine Innocence’ is a cut that Takecha made two versions of; one with a solo from a pianist and another with more emphasis on the beat, the latter of which appears on this album."

The interesting part of this story, beyond the amazing music that was released, is that there are many other tracks that never saw the light of the day, thus leaving the full Moon story untold.

Paul Hester created his cult Moon Music label in 1997 as a portal for his own productions and sounds. The label was short-lived, with only 3 releases in it's catalogue, all produced by Hester himself. Those few releases on Moon are now highly sought after among House and Techno aficionados who are forever seeking that deeper groove. The interesting part of this story, beyond the amazing music that was released, is that there are many other tracks that never saw the light of the day, thus leaving the full Moon story untold. 'Millennium / Days Gone By' from 1999 is the second Moon Music release and is comprised of 2 cuts that boast Hester's idiosyncratic production hallmarks - slick, glacial, minimal electronic Funk. A-side 'Millennium' is a driving, chopped up groove that just swings in the best possible way. It's taut, with creeping synth sounds that gradually build into a soaring, synth fuelled bliss and vocal snatches. The music is definitely from machines, but it has a human heart for sure. 'Days Gone By' mines a deeper furrow, a subtle, shuffling late night groove with a repeated vocal mantra speaking of 'a new generation'. Again, the beauty of this track is the minimal quality, very few sparse elements but arranged with such soul and care it's hard not to get swept away in the waves of pads that continually roll. Few artists can attain this effect within their music but Paul Hester managed to pull it off wonderfully on the cusp of the new millennium. An absolutely essential release from a gem of a label that remains criminally underrated. Moon Music releases tend to attain high prices on the second hand scene and are often extremely tough to track down due to their limited original releases, now, thanks to Paul, they are thankfully back on the streets, fully and lovingly remastered from the original DAT tapes for our pleasure.

    1. A Young Seth & Omar S - Deep - CDV 2006 Mix
    2. B1 Young Seth & Omar S - Detroit After Midnight
    3. B2 Young Seth - Luiza's Inferno

After a lengthy hiatus, Tuskegee Music is back with a heavyweight release indeed: it features tracks written by Detroit heavyweights Seth Troxler—under his Young Seth alias— and cult FXHE boss Omar S. Amazingly they were written 11 years ago and have been long forgotten until recently being unearthed.
The first track here was inspired by a trip Seth made to Berlin’s Club Der Visionaere in 2005. “It basically was me returning to Detroit and telling Omar about this crazy music I heard Ricardo play during the day.” The result, ‘Deep’(CDV 2006 Mix), is a spine tingling atmospheric deep house track. The drums are lo-fi and loose, the bassline is a meandering thing that really sucks you in and soft, gentle toms tumble around the groove and encourage you to cut loose.
Then comes the experimental slow motion drum shuffle of ‘Detroit After Midnight’ which the pair made after “finding loads of weird records in his basement sampling them and making a classic MPC Detroit cut.” It has the sounds of people talking as if coming from the room next door laid over a lazy and undulating bassline, and is brilliantly weird and sketchy.
Last of all, Young Seth goes solo on ‘Luiza’s Inferno’ five minutes of him jamming on Omar’s MS20 with a warbling synth line coated in warm tape hiss and layers of dust. It’s a beatless piece that shows how inventive and ahead of his time Troxler was even as a young man.
This is a brilliantly unusual EP and another winner for Seth Troxler and The Martinez Brothers’ Tuskegee label.

    4. D1. The Low End Theories

Seth Troxler & The Martinez Brothers’ Tuskegee Music welcomes a standout dance music innovator with a new EP from Chicago great Jamal Moss.

Moss is best known as Hieroglyphic Being, an artist who cooks up raw, inventive, rule breaking tracks and live sets of techno, house, and acid. His uncompromising style is informed by having grown up seeing the likes of Ron Hardy play at the legendary Muzic Box in his native Chicago. He runs the esteemed Mathematics label and is hugely prolific as well as being an artist who very much does things on his own terms, much to the delight of global press and his hardcore fanbase alike.

This double pack vinyl release opens up with the uniquely raw deep house of ‘Salvation is the Cure’, featuring icy hi hats and jacking drums which all have a live and authentic sound. A skewed acid line sprays about for extra ruggedness and distant chords bring a sense of futurism to the whole thing. ‘The Bad Blood’ is a majestic track of tumbling drums and off kilter percussive sounds all backed by exquisite synth work that exudes a pained sense of soul. It’s loose limbed and dynamic, always evolving and featuring the sort of killer bassline that will send clubs wild.

Title track, ‘R-Spirits Will Not Be Broken’ then ups the ante with knackered, hard hitting drums that are frazzled and lo-fi, spinning hi hats that teeter on the edge of all out chaos. It’s a bristling, edgy brew of in your face sounds that will blow the roof off whenever it’s dropped. Last of all, ‘The Low End Theories’ is six more minutes of impressively instinctive, scuffed up drums, hits and twisted cosmic melodies. It sounds like chaos at first, but over time patterns emerge and you cannot help but be consumed by the strange beauty of it all.

This is a typically unique and expressive house offering from one of the most innovative names in the game.

After a stellar 2015 that included 12”s from Bas Ibellini, Kool D and the newly formed collaborative trio of The Martinez Brothers, Jesse Calosso and Phil Moffa Seth Troxler and The Martinez Brothers ready the next record on Tuskegee Music the first of 2016 which comes from good friend Butch.

The adroit production skills of Bülent Gürler are no secret. As the co-owner of Otherside Records and as a regular on Villalobos’ Sei Es Drum, Visionquest and one of Seth Troxler’s other imprints Play It Say It he has consistently delivered his own brand of hallucinogenic, Disco-tinged House records that simply send floors into rapture. Now in the follow up to his ‘Dope’ EP on Play it Say It Butch readies ‘Yellow Sunshine’: a warped and burly EP guaranteed to send some winter dance-floors wayward.

‘Jack The System’ kicks things off with a bubbling acid groove laced under nifty panning and brave, pacey drum work. ‘The Message’ then rolls out a pensive, burning groove that is suffused with rich texture and propelled by a truncated acid line and flexing hat sequences that cap off another fine addition to Tuskegee’s catalogue and a solid start to 2016.

Please note: included 2 a’cappella’s on the vinyl only.

During the mid-80s and early 90s Movin’ Records defined the New Jersey sound. A skate-shop-turned-record-store run by the so-called “fairy godmother of house” Abigail Adams, Movin’s first output was ‘I’ve Got The Music’ by Boyd Jarvis in 1987, followed by music from game changers Blaze, Kerri Chandler, Tony Humphries and Smack; straight up “Jersey jams” that producers are still attempting to replicate to this day. Still the Movin’ Records catalogue throws up gems that sound super fresh along with plenty of lightbulb moments of musical discovery.

For the most part Movin’ Records focused on soulful vocal tracks but they peppered a few deeper tracks into the catalogue too. This is one of those releases and one of the rarer titles to find from the label. Produced by Steve Kelly and Steve ‘lucky’ Benson as 3 A.M., this was the only single under that group name, although they were involved in other productions from New Jersey. Deep chords, a heavy kick and a low-end bass form the backing for the repeated vocal line “I Love This Place”. The ‘Place Of Worship’ mix brings an uplifting piano line to the forefront, whilst an organ line jams out through the track with a jazzy walking bassline holding the groove together.

In the early 90’s Oscar G and Ralph Falcon AKA Murk unleashed a series of 12” singles that single-handedly put Miami on the House Music map. The Murk sound combined a deep, tribal drum-based rhythm track with strong house/R&B vocal performances, and it sounded like nothing that was out back then. While many other producers have tried to recreate the Murk Sound, nobody else has been able to match their distinctive sound sonic vibe. To this day these tracks still get played peak hour around the world.

“If You Really Love Someone” released under Murk acronym Liberty City is one of the best known of these releases. It’s now been given a spectacular update by one of the world’s most respected, influential and talented House Music aficionado’s DJ T., who had combined the much loved old skool flavor of Murk’s original production with the updated groove of Sterac. The B-side features a remix by emerging UK talent Jynx. Released on the original Murk Records vinyl imprint.

Paper Tree sneaked out into the world for a moment a few years back and then vanished. Lee Burridge loved the track so much that he continued to harass Rebelski, sometimes standing outside his window in the flower bed, for weeks on end until he finally agreed to let Lee release it on All Day I Dream. Not content with a single track Lee went back to Rebelski's garden and tapped on the window repeatedly until he agreed to make some more beautiful tracks.

Obviously pestering producers in this manner bares fruit. The Paper Tree EP ranges from a beautiful solitary solo piano piece that wouldn't be amiss in a British period piece drama where someone dies unexpectedly leaving the survivors to deal with it, all the while maintaining their stiff upper lip. Fly The Kite' made us want to go outside and do just that. So we did. It was epic. Circles And Squares joins Paper Tree as one of those dance floor moments best experienced with one's eyes closed. Myriad is the sound of a young lady robot's jewelry box (yes, we predict robots will be wearing jewelry in the future) that she(bot) pines to hear when she's all grown up and rusty. Omoshiroi is, well, it's just so damn pretty. Good work Rebelski. Good work.

Oona Dahl joined us at All Day I Dream last year both as a DJ and recording artists. Her first release 'high eyes' was featured on our summer sampler and floated onto the dance floor and into the consciousness of DJ's around the world. Oona studied sound design in the USA before moving to Berlin over the summer of 2015 to continue honing and crafting her sound. Her first full EP for ADID features deep dreamscapes and innovative arrangements underpinned by solid grooves that capture emotive, twisted melodic expressions. She and her music are a trip to the depths.

Gorje and Izhevski return to All Day I Dream. Finally!

Our Russian exotic step brothers have their own elegant and distinctive sound that carefully balances musical emotion with signature beats. Equally at home on the dance floor as well as your lounge floor in your Spotify playlist.

Nikolai has been a long time fan of Peter Broderick and was given the opportunity to work with him last year. He (and Dimitri) took Peter's vocals and created something quite beautiful, both in Ambient form as well as the 4:4 version. Ta da! Their new EP was well on it's way to completion.

Seeing as I'm never satisfied though I insisted they stayed up late for another week and the result was L'eternite. Harking back to one of their first releases (Calinerie) on the label this subtle melodic bomb will be heard as the sun sets or the sun rises across the universe this Summer.

If you're not already aware please check out the boys label too. Shanti Radio Moscow is a label we at All Day I Dream love.

"I've always loved the sound of the Italian word Amarone (ah-mah-ROH-nay). In my native Spanish, amar means to love, so for me the word recalls that beautiful invitation: to love oneself. Each track on this EP leads you through a different emotional landscape - an unfiltered experience of feeling, an encounter with the heart."

    1. A Farewell At The Gates of Dawn
    2. B Sometimes It Goes One Way

All Day I Dream has been spreading its musical rhythm and tone's through it's summer residencies in New York and Los Angeles the past few years as well as through the label. The forth release has been a summer anthem at the parties this year, and with it we welcome the two new family members behind them to ADID. Maher Daniel's presence is rising steadily and you'll be hearing a lot more from our bright star. How he has time to A+R for the label AND create beautiful melodic tracks of this caliber is beyond us but we're glad he's onboard. Gab Rhome appeared on our radar last year with his brilliant release on Suppliment fact and we knew, when we met, it would be a match made in heaven and not simply a fleeting affair. Both artists are dreamers. We love dreamers Maher and Gab weave a timeless quality in to 'farewell at the gates of dawn'. Beautiful, mournful and musical. The track speaks for itself. After working on Farewell Gab was unable to persuade Maher to stop watching reruns of Bay watch and come in to the studio. Alone he created 'Sometimes it goes one way'. Crunchy and pretty with a longing feel to it's vocal it's a fine partner to the A side daydream.
