- A 90% Of Me Is You
- B It's Worth The Hurt
Another all-time classic from the extensive back catalog of the legendary Miami songstress Gwen McCrae.
"90% Of Me Is You" is instantly recognizable, it's been sampled countless of times by some of the most seminal Hip Hop artists ever (Large Professor, Jaylib, Mobb Deep & more) & is a bonafide "Rare Groove" sure-shot that never loses it's appeal & is always in demand with DJ's & producers. Perhaps it's the pairing of the languid guitar & strings, or Gwen's sultry vocals & that steady breakbeat that keeps people hooked some 40 years after it's original release? Whatever it is, it's classic material from start to finish!
Backed here with it's original b-side slow jam "It's Worth The Hurt" this super-rare 45 has been re-mastered, re-pressed & brought back on a limited edition white vinyl for 2020's dance-floors in conjunction & with the permission of T.K. Disco / Henry Stone Music, Miami USA.

Boston edit fiend Kon returns with his gang in tow for some more stone cold funk to make you groove...
Needless to say - this one slaps in all the right ways! Aided and abetted by his long time engineer Caserta and featuring the dope musicianship of Soul Supreme on keys and Xander Vrienten on bass, Kon brings us the boogie love, reimagining a jam from one of Buffalo's most famous sons. This has summer JAM written all over it, we're talking chasm deep bass, snapping drums and the illest rhodes you've heard for a minute. Oh yeah, there's a dub on the flip too.... essential. Welcome back Kon & The Gang!

Rickard Jäverlings music can deservedly be described as playful and searching but for that sake not fumbling or too loose around the edges. On Album 4, the second album release from Jäverling on Höga Nord Rekords, he dwells more in dub than on his prior album release, and Jäverlings skillful songwriting is carried smoothly by the soft and fluffy production: the rhythm section sounds as if resting upon a sun warm bed of moss and elements flows in and out of the production like a freshly rippling stream of water deep in the summer forest. Echoes shoots through the pines, the hills and the valleys and makes the album a premium dub experience which dominates large parts of the album.
Aside the obvious references to nature that comes in mind listening to Jäverlings music, this album is more than a romantic view on the Swedish wilderness. It flirts, like all quality dub from the seventies and eighties with science fiction and space with broad synthesizer sweeps and delay drenched clouds like imploding and exploding stars somewhere in the outskirts of the Milky way, spreading dust over the Swedish forest. On the final three tracks, Ganjaman_72 takes the album out of the galaxy with spaced out-remixes on some of the songs.
With his feet steadily grounded in jamaican music tradition whit a non sentimental and curious view on production, Rickard Jäverling have together with Johan Holmegård (Dungen, Goran Kajfes), Andreas Söderström (ASS, Goran Kajfes) och Ganjaman_72 created the natural follow up to Album 3.

- A. Maracuja
- B. I Came To Destroy
- B2. Grove Street
On August 21st rising DJ/producer Haider presents the ‘Endless Clouds’ EP on his own label
Breaker Breaker, where pristine future electro meets high tech funk and raw, jacking house.
This new release follows praise from a wide selection of world-class DJs and media for his
past 12”s, not to mention achievements as label owner, party promoter, canny early spotter
of talent and general proactive instigator.
Now based in Berlin but originally from Sheffield via a stint in London, there’s a commonality
throughout all of Haider Masroor’s music that links both thematically and geographically. His
productions recall both Steel City bleep and its distant younger cousin bassline, using only
sparse elements, with beats and bass at the fore, to deadly effect. London is audible too via
the spiky energy of grime and the swinging shuffle of UK funky, and so is Berlin, evident in
the sleek sheen and efficient precision.
On ‘Maracuja’ lush pads, pitched-up vocal snippets, bleeps and proper electro beats ride
atop a deep, purring bassline that unfurls like giant waves, with sub bass punctuation adding
further hefty depth.
The bouncy, punchy beats and pristine gleam of ‘I Came To Destroy’ are somewhere
between celestial Miami bass and the aquatic grooves of Drexciya, again propelled by
gigantic slo-mo bass tones.
A modern take on the cut-up samples of 90s house, on ‘Grove Street’ Haider mixes
elements of classic French touch, Chicago rawness and low fi outsider grit, to create
something very enticing indeed.

Dan Shake heads on a four track exploration of his chilled and soulful side, and continues to deepen his musical connection with Detroit teaming up with one of the most authentic in the game, Amp Fiddler.
Swapping the usual club surroundings for the peaceful Devonshire countryside and taking a break from the online world, Dan Shake naturally found himself delving into a relaxed state of mind and feeding this back into his music. He’s been teaching himself to play keys, which you’ll hear shine through SHAKE008, all topped by the lush vocals of Amp Fiddler.
Dan has naturally channelled Detroit into his musical endeavours from a young age and although a modest handing of a CD to Moodymann led to his first signing on Mahogani Music, (and Dan the imprint’s first non Detroiter) the foundation actually starts with deep admiration of J Dilla, fascinated by his sampling abilities. Anyone up on hip-hop history will know that Amp Fiddler mentored a young J Dilla. Fast forward to the present day and Amp Fiddler becomes the first vocalist that Dan has ever worked with.
Dan Shake - “This EP is heavily influenced by J Dilla and the way he samples. Studying his music has given me such an education over the years because he not only samples so much amazing stuff, he does it so creatively. J Dilla is largely the reason I got into house music. Amp Fiddler is one of my all time favourite vocalists and producers and so the link here is a full circle moment. I feel very humbled to have Amp as the first vocalist I’ve worked with and if you’d have told my teenage self that this was set to happen, I’d have never believed it.”
SHAKE008 effortlessly glides, and is a true reflection of a hard working and inquisitive artist who is naturally evolving and upping the game wherever he can.

- A. New Horizons (Original)
- B. New Horizons (Radio Edit)
‘New Horizons’ is the second single from the brand-new album ‘Metamorfosi’ by Joseph Capriati.
True to its title, the track explores directions we’ve never heard before in the music of the Southern Italian producer from Caserta. It is far away from the 4/4 kicks and from the usual techno territory where Capriati is a master and a worldwide pillar. ’New Horizons’ looks somewhere else, and to head to these new horizons, Joseph joins an extraordinary travel mate: musical legend James Senese. Senese is a saxophonist who has crossed some of the most important adventures of Italian music during his long career. From Napoli Centrale to the historical and mythical band of Pino Daniele, a backbone of the famous Neapolitan Sound of the ‘80s, with whom Senese has surpassed the boundaries of Italian fame to become a worldwide reference of a fresh and new take on pop, funk and jazz.
Senese, the tradition. Capriati, the innovation. A legacy, a musical heritage of Neapolitan and Italian music, from the roots to the present and projected into the future for a surprising and unexpected collaboration. In ‘New Horizons’ the electronic production of Joseph Capriati coexists with the tradition and the mastery of a champion like James Senese's sax, in a smart and sophisticated, downtempo beat. A track intended to leave an indelible mark on International music.

Slowing down the pace of his previous heavy-hitters for two sweetheart dance tracks that have been favourites of nearly every S.O.S set over the past two years, the title track was the first ever made under the Skin On Skin moniker while the B side, ‘Way Ur Touchin Me’ is a perfectly paired swooner dug out of the archives.

Alexis Cabrera debuts on FUSE sister imprint Infuse as he releases his four-track ‘Acidity’ EP.
Argentinian born, Berlin-based producer and live act Alexis Cabrera has emerged as one of South America’s finest electronic music exports with a string of stand-out releases via the likes of Raum…Musik, Moscow, Yaji and Salty Nuts over the past few years alone. A co-founder of Fun Records alongside fellow Argentian Barem, Cabrera’s sophisticated, groove-heavy sound combined with his impressive live performances have seen him take to world renowned venues such as Watergate, Tresor and Hoppetosse in his adopted hometown, and September now welcomes another ‘feather in his cap’ as he makes his debut on FUSE sister imprint Infuse to deliver his four-track ‘Acidity’ EP.
Taking cues from its title, lead cut ‘Acidity’ unveils a bubbling acid-driven production guided by sweeping synths and slick drum licks, whilst ‘Bulevardò’ journeys through warping electronics, shuffling percussion and off-kilter vocal murmurs to offer up a twisting, hypnotic ride. Next up, ‘Tocado’ introduces an infectious medley of organic drums, resonant bass melodies and icy hats, before closing proceedings via the jazzy chords and funk-heavy bass licks of the infectious ‘Esa Vaina’.

Dutch-Carribean stars Shermanology debut on Hot Creations with the tremendous three-track Bon Bini EP. The release continues an outstanding 2020 for the brother-sister pairing, which has seen them collaborate with The Martinez Brothers already this year.
The title track, Bon Bini, kicks off proceedings in a no-nonsense fashion, as a pumping lead kick merges with latin-inspired vocal cuts. The lengthy breakdown builds a party atmosphere, as rustling hats provide an up-tempo feel. OK - Cool - Aight feat. ConQuer Jones comes next, with its uplifting piano rolls and wonderful vocal solo courtesy of the lead vocalist who tells us to “make the best of what life has to offer.” Breathe feat. Agent Sasco rounds off the EP. A straight-up club cut, the kick-hat blend is irresistibly danceable, building on an underlying bassline that features Agent Sasco’s whispering lyrics underneath.
Hailing from the beautiful Dutch-Carribean island of Curacao, brother-and-sister duo Shermanology have become one of electronic music’s most well-loved and well-known pairings releasing on the likes of Defected and Dirtybird. This year marked a pivotal milestone in their career as they collaborated with The Martinez Brothers on the incredible Bam Bam. Add to this their soon-to-be-released debut on Hot Creations and it is safe to say Shermanology will be making heads turn, and feet move, for years to come.

The Art Of Us (TAOU) begins with the story of Blair French, a cosmic messenger raised in a house of 7 on the outskirts of a historic city. From dancing at mom's disco parties at a young age, to releasing rap tapes in middle school, winning best soundtrack for the multi-award-winning film DETROPIA and hitting the Billboard charts with his Pure Sounds of Michigan compilation; ultimately French found a home in the world of all things Detroit, Pan-African, Balearic, and ambient. TAOU is his first instrumental LP under his own name, (despite a 25 year career), bringing together his closest musical compatriots.
Blair's diverse production shines on this immersive 14 track release, transcending organic/electronic, uptempo/downtempo, and light/dark, tapping in heavyweight characters including Pathe Jassi, John Arnold, Craig Huckaby, Todd Modes, Kaylan Waterman, Peter Croce, Eddie Logix, Paul Randolph, 2040, Michael Jurczak and more.
Sonically, TAOU holds peak-hour Deep Cosmic Afro House freak outs ("Faded By The Sun", "Celebration Ritual", "F O A", "Chest Drum"), blunted beatdown cuts ("Stay Detroit", "Jeans", "Drop Ceiling Shuffle", "River Crossing"), and soulful R&B and Afrobeat compositions ("Honey Rooftops", "Genes", "Space Time Curvature").
Mastered by Atjazz, the vinyl is cut loud to lacquer by Carl at Trutone, and pressed with love at Archer on the east side of Detroit. It includes a double sided full color art insert with lyrics on the flip side.

Grammy award winner & multi grammy nominated Luisito Quintero grew up with the Latin American and African tradition of percussion. His father is just as much a percussionist as his uncle Carlos Nene Quintero and his cousin Roberto Quintero . He became a member of the Orquesta Simfonica de Venezuela , but soon appeared with ensembles such as Grupo Guaco and El Trabuco Venezolano and toured with Oscar D'León .
He then moved to New York, where he initially worked with Latin jazz musicians such as Willie Colón , Eddie Palmieri , Tito Puente and Celia Cruz . He then turned to the fusion of jazz, funk, salsa and African music and performed with George Benson , Herbie Hancock , Ravi Coltrane and Toshiko Akiyoshi , but also with pop musicians such as Gloria Estefan and Marc Anthony.
His First album “Percussion Maddness” was produced by Louie Vega & LQ and was released on BBE Records. Now 8 years later, re-released on Vega Records with 4 new tracks also produced by Louie Vega will be released on a double pack vinyl in two parts, one a double pack 12” and the second a double pack 7” vinyl. Enjoy the Brazilian, Jazz, African, House, & Afro-cubano sounds of Grand Percussionist Luisito Quintero on this very special vinyl release.

- A. Pepper Shake
- B. Bubble Ride
Two of house and techno’s most-established talents collaborate on their debut release together, as Hot Creations head Jamie Jones teams up with Mood Records boss Nicole Moudaber on Pepper Shake.
Short, sweet and with no filler involved, Pepper Shake gets us underway swiftly, and the name certainly does the track justice. Up-tempo hats whistle beside a driving bassline, before a female vocal reels in and out. The styles of both artists are present throughout, with Jamie’s signature groove providing the foundation and Nicole’s deeper techno style coming through in the synths. Bubble Ride completes the release. Dark, gritty and harder-edged than its predecessor, this is a stripped-back peak-time club cut, with a penetrating bassline and hard-hitting kick patterns. The occasional pulse of an atmospheric sample further enhances the body of the track, to form something that’s built solely for the dancefloor.
As a world-renowned DJ and producer, head of Hot Creations and founder of the global Paradise event series, Jamie Jones has etched out a legacy in electronic music that few others can attest to. His personally curated Paradise series offers an international showcase of house and techno’s most recognisable artists, whilst his flagship label, Hot Creations, continues to pioneer a contemporary house sound. At the forefront of the MOOD brand, with offshoots including a record label (Mood Records), warehouse parties (MoodRAW), festival stages (MoodZONE) and a renowned global radio show (In the MOOD), Nicole Moudaber has rightfully established herself as a worldwide techno mainstay.

Rising London-based talent Casey Spillman debuts on LOCUS with his latest four-track EP, ‘Bit More Raggo’.
A hotly-tipped name within the UK house and minimal scene, London’s Casey Spillman continues to impress as one of the city’s key emerging DJs, producers and label owners. Founder of his own blossoming imprint Temperature, his releases and remixes via the likes of e1ven records, Sukhumvit and Infuse have gained support from a long list of the scene’s key players - solidifying his growing profile as one of FUSE’s key up-and-coming talents, whilst featuring across a string of their infamous events within the UK capital. Next up, Spillman’s latest outing welcomes a debut on recently launched FUSE imprint LOCUS, delivering four typically impressive cuts in the form of his ‘Bit More Raggo’ EP.
Opening cut ‘What I Say’ delivers a moody, up-front production armed with metallic percussion licks, resonant chords and driving low-ends, whilst the skipping hats and sweeping key leads of the slick ‘Gambling Man’ reveal a classy yet warping journey to close out the A-side. On the flip, ‘Humidity Meter’ introduces a hypnotic combination of shuffling percussion atop of escalating electronics and squelching bass patterns, before closing proceedings via the tripped-out vocals, crisp, raw drum shots and menacing bassline of final track, ‘Commands’.

Guy Gerber will finally release his much-anticipated rework of Desire’s Don’t Call on vinyl. The track had been a standout in his live sets for months before lock-down, and it has received an incredible reaction.
Gerber’s rework is a stunning interpretation of Desire’s 2012 track. Languid and sultry yet soaring, Gerber’s reimagination of the original hinges on the unique blend of melancholy and euphoria that he has built his career around. It’s fitting that the Israeli producer has turned Megan Louise’s heartbreak tune into one of the summer’s most danceable records, it’s the same contrarian spirit that saw him turn in a break-up album for his instalment in the esteemed fabric mix series.

Apollo is a new concept project from me, spread across 3 EPs which throw back to the 90s melodic Techno and Progressive Trance sound. Although my roots are firmly in Breakbeat-Rave, I was also captivated by the big room sound of labels like R&S, Guerilla, Hard Hands and Sven Väth’s Harthouse from that same period of time. My studio is full of old equipment that fuelled that original European sound so I quickly found myself focussing on a bunch of tracks that are heavily influenced by some really special music that often gets forgotten." These have a universal appeal, being hypnotic and just the right balance between pushy club sounds and spatial melodies” - Radio Slave
Shrouded in murky atmospherics, ‘RND009’ opens the package with rigorous drums, shuffling shakers, sweeping pads and scintillating synths. ‘RND007 (Dub Mix)’ continues with a similar cantering rhythm as various rattling percussive elements work alongside clever automation for a tracky cut designed to lock listeners into a trance. Concluding matters, ‘RND004’ is the wonkiest number on the package with its syncopated groove and otherworldly melody.

Prolific American artist Jon Hester returns to Rekids for the first instalment of his new album, ‘Converge’, this September.
Jon Hester grew up in the Midwest US, living in Chicago and Minneapolis while taking musical cues from Detroit. Initially he was a dancer, and later transitioned to the decks with a refined understanding of what it takes to move a club. He progressed to hosting his own events, holding residencies, and working at a record shop, and now brings his physical rhythms and adventurous drums to his productions, with output on respected labels such as Transmat, Deeply Rooted, Dystopian, Klockworks, and LET Recordings, not to mention multiple appearances on Rekids.
Continuing to show fine form on his debut album, Hester now serves up eight of his signature house and techno fusions with plenty of his trademark directness across four sides of vinyl. The superb 'Sending Signals' opens the album with scene-setting synth modulations full of sci-fi atmosphere. It's the calm before the storm as 'Metropolitan' then immediately sets off on a cantering groove that is eventually run through with busy, jazzy piano keys that bring the soul.
'Haze' has excellently taught kick drums with hypnotic synth tones adding colour, and features Hester on saxophone. When 'Rain' comes, things grow darker and more menacing, with shakers and urgent stabs keeping you moving at a slick pace.
The second half of this compelling record features the loopy punches and pulses of the super smooth 'Dreamstate', beautifully cosmic and widescreen techno of 'Free' and pensive but urgent deep electro of standout cut 'Flex.' Last of all, 'Equinox' is lit up with distant chords which bring a far-sighted gaze to the rolling, robust kicks.

- A. Jump Into The Light (7” Mix)
- AA. Falling Deep In Love (Joey Negro 7” Disco Blend)
Glitterbox are proud to announce the second single from Horse Meat Disco and founding member of Sister Sledge, Kathy Sledge. An apt follow-up to the stunning disco hit ‘Falling Deep In Love’, ‘Jump Into The Light’ embodies the same uplifting qualities and signature strutting style. Now, both these charming disco numbers will be available on a special 7” package. With both tracks co-produced by Classic Music Company boss Luke Solomon, who worked alongside Chris Penny and JKriv on ‘Jump Into The Light’, the nightlife champions display their expertise of dancefloor dynamics across the package, an exciting preview of things to come on their forthcoming LP later this year. Opening the release is ‘Jump Into The Light’, with its gloriously funky bass, rich instrumentation and perfectly timed hooks, the production forms a perfect backdrop to Kathy’s unmistakable vocal. Joey Negro’s edit of ‘Falling Deep In Love’ follows, a record that has enchanted Glitterbox dancefloors since its release. With subtle nods to disco greats like CHIC, this is another red hot delivery from the Horse Meat Disco camp.
