    DESCRIPTION

“This one is for the last ones standing, the ones on the dancefloor just before the blinding white lights announce the end of the party.” Boston Bun ‘Grey’ is the first release by Monaco, the emerging Irish producer kicking off this summer’s techno scene, traversing the crossover house of last summer by blending hard techno and an emotive break-up vocal melody with lyrics stuck in your head at 7am adding a conclusive dialogue to a night of heavy beats.
An early version of ‘Grey’ has already been circulated in clubland with the likes of Jamie Jones, Riva Starr, Marco Carola & Claude VonStroke spinning the track.
“I first tested out ‘Grey’ at a Circa’99 night in Paris back in December and it went down nicely. I’m a massive fan of the label and all the releases plus the Bossman is an amazing friend so it feels great to join the Circa’99 family with my debut record”
Founder of Circa ’99 is London’s French House aficionado Boston Bun whose releases include ‘Missing You’, ‘Better Together’, ‘Don’t Wanna Dance’, ‘Spread Love (Paddington)’, ‘Gucci Slides’, the soulful dancefloor filling collab with Dombresky ‘Stronger’ & reworks of massive tracks for the likes of Cassius, Disciples, Diplo & Mark Ronson.
‘’I’ve known Monaco for a while now, but I was waiting for the right track to get him on board. ‘Grey’ blends well with Circa 99’s DNA. I love that it has an emotional energy on top of a raw feeling. This one is for the last ones standing, the ones on the dancefloor just before the blinding white lights announce the end of the party.’’
