The result builds upon the key elements of the original, with a fresh airy yet dynamic vigour.

“I’m good friends with Jon and I usually send him stuff I’ve made. So I sent him Torch Song some time ago while I was putting together the first draft of the album. He was particularly enthusiastic about Torch Song and suggested it should be a single. As he had the master of the original, he did it off his own back really and I couldn’t be happier to have him involved, as it’s definitely one of my faves on the album.” - Nathan Fake
