The imprint is fast becoming a ‘go to’ label for those who like their house music uncomplicated and hype free, ensuring the Chicago and Detroit house sound burns bright with new music indebted to the roots of the music.

After recent releases on Seth Troxler’s Play It Say It label, and remixes for London Grammar, Richy brings the goods back to home on this latest Four Thirty Two release.

On “Can’t Stop Us”, chunky stabs incessantly jab at meaty drums, as a female vocal loop rides on an opening filter. The good vibes build to a classic house piano crescendo that Marshall Jefferson would certainly approve of, as the soaring strings and evolving drums raise the rapturous mood to dizzying heights.

On the flip, the percussive disco drums of “Dials Mavis” are bolstered by a booming sub bassline whilst deft keys and deep Rhodes chords deliver the infectious melody on this bumping jazz ride.
