SALES NOTES

2020 will be the year that is remembered by all with the words Lockdown and Isolation. For the latest release on Seven Dials, we bring you a track that was born out of Isolation, hence the title. With billions around the world confined to their houses, it’s been a time for studio projects for many. Zito produced this track whilst in isolation and then put it out to his fan base in a small video form and put together a competition for people to remix. The amount of entrants was astounding; however label head honcho, Seb Zito went through every single entry and picked out 4 favourites before whittling it down to the final 2 winners to be released on the label. The two winners, PACH, and Mr.Diamond have delivered the goods in the perfect style for Seven Dials and amongst massive competition too.

The original mix typifies Seb Zito and his Seven Dials label. With straight up beats for the floor, combining garage and old school sounds with an energy that has kept Zito at the forefront of the underground scene for over a decade.

The first remix is from Moxy Muzik resident PACH, who has previously appeared on labels like Whoyostro, LowerHand, and Distance Music. He takes this on a late night excursion, delivering a break beat work out. Working the parts from the original in a more stepper style with touches of deep and garage to it, this is an essential track for the end of the night as the sun comes up.-

The second mix comes from Mr.Diamond, with releases on Rendr, Roush and Streetking, it’s fair to say Mr Diamond is moving forward fast. His sound is a raw and gritty and for his remix he combines an old school breaks intro, a power bassline, 90’s flavoured keys and when it drops coming out of the break its clear why Zito picked this one as a winner
