Seb Zito’s Seven Dials Records Records returns after a brief hiatus with a release from the man himself.
Seb’s ‘UK Gee EP’ delivers 2 tracks that strike a perfect balance between the stripped back tech sounds that he’s known so well for, and the UK Garage influences that shaped him in his formative musical years. Track 1 ‘UK G’ comes straight at you with a driving kick, skippy beats, cool vox clips and then a bass line that will test any sound system! Laced with some dreamy string / pad sections in the breakdown, this is a surefire dance floor winner.
Track 2 ‘UK G3’ starts from the off with break beat over the 4/4 kick, setting the tone for another floor weapon. With a D&B style sub-bass and a ravey stabs dropped in the right places, this one is heavier than track 1, but again nails the
balance of old school sounds, with new school production.
This EP is entirely reflective of Seb’s sound at the moment. A sound that incorporates his modern tech house values, and his love of the music that shaped him in London in the 90’s. A sound that his fans and dancefloors love.
