After a 14 year hiatus here comes the first new material from Sons of Slough. Duncan Gray (tici taci label boss) and Ian Weatherall (brother of Andrew) were a formidable Live act in the early 2000's, with releases on Skint, Billy Nasty's Electrix label, Whole9Yards, and Sprungcartellwachs.
Having remixed a track for Andrew's Consolamentum premix project, Ian and Duncan found they still had the old magic and have been creeping in and out of the studio ever since. Here comes the first of these new tracks - Front Cog. It's a four to the floor chunk-fest, with the trademark characteristics of vintage Sons tracks - electro bleeps, weird scraping sound effects, ambient textures and memorable meoldies.
On remix duties the Sons have chosen two favourites - Field of Dreams (Al MacKenzie and Chris Kentish) and Lee "Peza" Perry.
