It was 2010 when special_guest made it onto the DJ scene in Ibiza & UK albeit under a previous alias. Since then he has performed all over the world with highlights at Space Ibiza, The Warehouse Project, Sankeys, Mint Club, VIVa Warriors & Kehakuma.

His distinctive sound is reflected in both his productions and performances, with clear influences of his parents collection and the years spent living and performing on The White Isle. Whether it's DJing or producing, his sounds are known for their progressive nature and are a meticulously programmed personal journey.

Now 10 years on, special_guest enters with his debut EP on Phonetic Recordings and delivers 3 deeply rhythmic and melodic underground movers staying true to his techy-high energy-groove centric DJ style.

Phonetic kicked off with their very first release in 2002, the label has found, nurtured and worked with some of House Music’s biggest artists. The label has a reputation and strives to find and expose new amazing talent, as well as working with some of the best established producers around. The label is also responsible for many a No.1 hit Record, from Ibiza Track Of the Summer (x4), to Radio 1, No.1 Mixmag & No.1 DJ Mag. And has co-released with key Major Labels & Independents across the world.
