Straight to Audio is the 5th release from Welsh producer Lloyd Jones working as "The Long Champs". First discovered by the late great Lord Sabre, Lloyd has established himself as one of the most recognisable and quirky producers on tici taci, and Straight to Audio is his debut full-length album.

Lloyd's sound is characterised by an extensive use of guitars - more so than any other tici taci artist, his sound is based on multi-layered washes of heavily effected guitar and crosses over into post-rock territory, with tracks reminiscent of Tortoise or Jim O'Rourke.

This collection of 8 brand new compositions range from the dancefloor friendly (Apples Are Not The Answer) to after hours drifting (Straight to Audio), with both upbeat moods and sinister soundcsapes. In these strange days of lockdown here is a collection of tracks which can be listened to without the need for a mirrorball.
