The EI8HT label opens up its 2020 account with a killer four track EP from The Southern. The imprint, set up by Eats Everything and Andres Campo in 2019, has steadily built up a solid reputation via releases from Truncate, Avision, RISC, Drumcomplex, and Campo himself.
The Southern, who hails from Matera in the South of Italy, has focused his production talents on a number of superb releases for labels like Tronic, Odd Recordings and Doppelgaenger. Raised on a steady diet of electronic music and hip-hop, the on form producer delivers four cuts of panel beating, funky assed techno joints on the ‘Raw Culture’ EP.
