    DESCRIPTION

Since 2016 Lindi Hoxha has been producing finely crafted tracks for tici taci under the name Uj Pa Gaz (which means "Water without Gas" in his native Albanian). Lindi has had a long musical career for a man of his age, starting out as a classical guitarist, moving on to drums and electric guitar with the band Taj├žido, and then taking up electronic music production - releasing his first EP with tici taci in 2016.

A multi instrumentalist, Lindi is perfectly suited to the tici taci sound and his compositions always have plenty of Live instrumentation. Having worked up a truly characteristic sound over the last 4 years, Lindi now releases "Nepotik" - his first full-length album as Uj Pa Gaz.

The album leans heavily on his experience as a DJ, with residencies in the Albanian capital city Tirana, at both the renowned Discobox and the city's coolest music bar "Radio". he has played host to many DJ's from across Europe including the late great Andrew Weatherall.

With seven cuts of pure dancefloor magic, "Nepotik" has a relentlessly upbeat feel. A positive vibe runs through the whole album from the glorious opener "Chaga" through to the final dancefloor track "HTAW" (Homage to Andrew Weatherall). As a final track, Lindi digs into his past and gives us something beautiful and utterly balaeric to contemplate - "Mallorca" was composed by Isaac Albeniz in 1903 for solo piano, but has since found fame as transcribed for classical guitar, and it's this adaptation which Lindi closes his album with.
