2019 saw the first release from Weska without a label, a new path for the young Canadian artist as plans to develop his own collection of self-released titles. After being signed to Drumcode where he had huge success with his collab with mentor and friend Bart Skils, as well as Suara and Kraftek, he has gained some huge momentum which continues into 2020.
First is ‘Mania’. Opening with an aquatic soundscape underpinned by raw uncompromising low-end fury. Scattergun percussion adds energy as the melodics ramp up tension. Acidic leads in the break take it up a few more notches, then mania reigns!

Continuing the acidic undertones, ‘Rad Squares’ leaps from the speakers from the first beat. More musical than ‘Mania’ the energy is on 11 from the drop: Weska is pushing the boundaries of his studio craft for the better with every release.
